  1. That looks like my cousin's house in Coral Springs, Florida.
  2. Yea, central Indiana has taken quit a hit since 2005. That's why I got the heck out of the their in 1997. I saw it coming! I guess you have to make the drive to Indy or Chicago! Is Big Boy's Toys on Allisonville in Indy still open?
  3. I like when enthusiasts know the details.
  4. Yes, isn't it ironic how progressive the masses were during the 1970's and now how amenable they are to the corporatist way of thinking, even thought the movie was made by a big corporation. Freedom of speech then is a whole lot different than freedom of speech now evidently. Sorry for getting political.
  5. OK, we've met. I use to live in Kokomo back in the mid 1990s. I was looking through some old items and came up with one of your old Hobbyland business cards.
  6. Fotocut offered some incredible Kenworth photo etched muffler guards, they were sold thru Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. I bought the last batch last year directly from Fotocut. Model Car Garage offers some nice Peterbilt muffler guards. Kit Form Services of Great Britain offer photo etched muffler guards. As far as making your own, I know of a few modelers that have access to a precession vertical drill and had the patience to drill the hundreds of holes thru sheet aluminum. Good luck!
  7. Old news. They are also going to finally offer the Iveco Strais first announced way back in 2002 in the last half of 2011. If things go as they have in reference to Italeri, they might offer some new North American subjects in 2012 or 2013.
  8. Looks great. I have several of the Clint Freeman Watson Chalin lift axles and steering lift axles. These were detailed kits within themselves. Your items will fill a need.
  9. Well, it is technically a rumor, but is it factual?
  10. I don't know if I'm that type. Test me!
  11. 25 years ago? The newest AMT truck kit was first issued over 32 years ago. I love the truck model hobby, but I don't get excited over the umpteenth reissue of these kits. My hopes are based on Italeri, Revell of Germany and what Moebius decides to offer.
  12. Car Modeler had an article on how to detail the Colgrey Components nets 1/16th scale engine.
  13. Soak them in a bowl or container of Fantastic for a couple of days and then rinse them off.
  14. Of course the hard core truck modelers will love this kit, but also marketing this kit to the NASCAR crowd is also a brilliant marketing move.
