  1. Great work! Maude was a classic show. Many TV shows of that era were brilliant. In fact, shows of that quality and political dialog only appear on HBO today. We are so politically dumbed down as far as television programs nowadays. Just a bit of trivia, Good Times was a spin off of Maude. Florida was Maude's day maid. What I couldn't understand was Maude was situated in the New York City suburb of Tuckahoe. Florida lived in a hosing project in Chicago. Now that's a hellava commute!
  2. Great work! Please refer to this post. It concerns 1/16th scale after market items. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.p...ic=6458&hl=
  3. The details on this one might be your best.
  4. Several photos from my archives of a Pete resmbling your subject. Charles
  5. Ok! I would hate for a perfect model to fall short of your skills.
  6. Ben, I don't know where Chris got his acorn nuts, but RB Motion is still in business and they still offer the same items they have always offered.
  7. Excellent model. Correct trailer for the year of the tractor. You are one of the few that includes the trailer hook-ups.
  8. Your model is coming together great, as usual. The detail of the front steer rims is fantastic, but the inaccurate rear Italeri pseudo American real wheels detract from the model, in my opinion. Drilling out the hubs of the rear wheels and using more accurate American style hubs or using after market two wheels with accurate hubs would improve the over all appearance of the subject.
  9. "On the GPS unit..it was acquired from Model Truck Parts in Australia.." Do you have a link?
  10. Excellent work. You've captured the spirit of the actual rig.
  11. Italeri truck shop accessories kit No. 764 (discontinued) has a nice set of bullet type roof lights. Might find them on Ebay.
  12. I have that information. Unfortunately my computer is down and I cannot scan images. You can contact the Mack Museum. They can send you information on any Mack truck ever made. http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...iseliner16.html
  13. Actually I meant a BIG lawn mower! Just kidding. "G" scale train wheels would work fine. Of course that is probably "MOW" than we can handle!
  14. At this stage, it looks like a MOW rig.
  15. Those KFS aluminum wheels are for high end models or speical projects. With bolts and nuts they would run about $75 for a 6x4 tractor!
  16. Great stuff as usual. KFS (Auslowe) offered a Peterbilt day cab back panel (P6 Day cab panel Peterbilt 377 & 378 £4.10GBP) . It is very accurate for the year. Charles Mitchell
  17. So I guesss you will be dropping quite a few quid for the KFS metal wheels and Mo'luminum Pete tanks? Charles Mitchell
  18. I found some excellent reference material on the net. http://public.fotki.com/wackydave/car_rela...e_-_old_ads-20/
  19. I agree. At my age, I get so much more enjoyment from building rather than displaying models. I take a couple of photos of them in various settings for my portfolio.
  20. The yellow lowboy trailer is the sh**! I thought it was real.
  21. Good job. Looks like something you would see out west during the mid 60s hauling hay trailers.
  22. Gorgeous, ready for the AMT moving van.
