  1. Hey,how's about a Smokey and the dark side Trans Am Land Speeder.
  2. Its a twisted movie. But definetly my kind of flick.Poor Chip..The so called "dead" girl was pretty dam scary.I also wonder why they made the amount of money in the movie,68,000.I mean at least round it off to 70,80,or a 100.Or better yet,69....Kill 69.Lol
  3. Nice TAs guys.A buddy of mine just picked up a Bandit TA kit from Hobby Lobby. He wants to do a tribute car for a local model show in my area, coming up in November.
  4. Gotcha
  5. So Mike, are you saying you liked the movie?I never heard of it either, and I caught it on cable one night as well.Black comedy's are the best.Quentin Tarantino is great at making films like that.In fact this movie seemed like it would be a Tarantino movie. It wasnt a perfect movie or anything..I'd give it an 8 on a 1-10 scale..And again, obviously the last half of the movie was the best part..."Way to go Sis". "Pop music, talk about pop music" Lol.
  6. Yea they'll give him a huge goodbye.
  7. Cool plate. It really is a sad day.
  8. I know that Snake.I didn't mean it would raise the value of the car a lot.Its just like Carol Shelby signing a Mustang,or a Cobra. It adds a sentimental value to the car..As far the TAs,it's the 76-79,which were Bandit look alikes. However, there was never a Bandit edition in any year of the famed Trans Am.But you got to admit, their prices are rising, similar to the late 70s,early 80s,Z28s.
  9. Oh yea,10-4
  10. Guys would send him their glove box door,or something from a TA,and have him sign it.Then mail it back to the person.Automatically the price of the car raises the price a little bit, with Burts signature.
  11. Yup
  12. Some of Burt Reynolds movies..Boogie nights,Best little WhoreHouse in Texas.Deliverance.Of course the Bandit.Sharky's Machine, which he directed. He was great in Hooper,Gator, and one movie that a lot of people forgot,The End,with Sally Field, and Dom Deluise...The movie was hilarious. The longest Yard.Of course Stroker Ace,another comedy.Malone,Best Friends with Goldie Hawn,Cannonball Run,White Lighting,Stick, and many more.
  13. The passing of an American movie icon,Burt Reynolds passed away this afternoon. He was 82.He was the one and only,Bandit, and he will be missed.RIP Bandit.
  14. To me,he was an American Icon. The one and only. Its weird,I also heard that Sally Fields mother also died.
  15. I too just found out from a friends text.He was an American Icon,in my opinion. He was the Bandit. He will be missed very much.RIP Bandit..
  16. I'm pretty upset.I just found out that one of the best actors of our time,Burt Reynolds has passed away today at the age of 82.He was the Bandit. He played so many great roles. He will be missed by the whole world. There was no one like him..He certainly lived a full life....RIP Bandit.
  17. Jim,I really like those older NASCARs.Great job.
  18. Maybe try Pegasus. They have some off beat wheels.
  19. Ok I'm 6'2,would I be able to sit comfortably in an old Mini?I know I could fit in the new ones, but I always wanted to drive one of those old 60 racing Minis around the track.I don't think I can fit though..There are a bunch of cars us tall guys can't get in.Being tall isn't always the best thing.
  20. Perfect.Great job
  21. Ok I heard a couple of years ago that there would most likely be a mid engine Corvette in the near future.I will admit,I think the car is gorgeous looking, from what I can see..However, it's so obvious that Chevy is doing its best to imitate Ferrari...So there is good and bad news.Again the car is incredible, but a Vette is a Vette, and a Ferrari is a Ferrari..Someone also mentioned that there will still be a front engine Vette for those who don't want the mid engine car.Plus once you put that engine in the rear, the car is going to take on a whole new feeling while driving. Some folks will love it,while others will hate it.I guess we will have to wait and see.
  22. I do remember,absolutely hilarious.Didnt someone also have a Chia- car?
  23. Great job, definitely digging that color. Its weird, but if you quickly look at the car in the last picture,it sort of looks like an old NYPD car.I mean if they ever used Challengers.
