Very cool build. The cage/chassis came out great.Keep those pix coming. -
Yea,in fact, the only police cars I like are these fake ones, and not the real cars..But again,I don't think anyone wants a real one near them.Arrrggggg

I had a 1/24th Diecast prostock car just gathering dust.So I decided to take it apart. The engine, and the entire chassis, and roll cage, are very cool, and nicely detailed.Well I tried to make the Diecast pro stock chassis fit into a plastic body. And I found that a 69 Novs fits over it,pretty well. The only thing I did,was to put much bigger rear slicks. The only problem I found, was the fuel cell sticks out too far, past the Nova's front gril. But that can just be cut off.If I decide to build this car,I'm going to re paint it.

NYLIBUD replied to tyrone's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Tyrone, all of your builds are absolutely fantastic, but this Nova is by far my favorite of all.The 66,67 Novas are among my favorite drag cars.I love it in black.I look forward to your next car. This is one of my old builds -
Try Slixx decals. They have a few different choices of NOS decals.Slixx always has the best quality decal sheets.I use them all the time.

Very nice job.I really like the way you made the rust scattered on the exhaust pipes. And the interior looks great.

I noticed you used one of those roll cages from the 55/57 Chevy Pro Mods. I have to say, that they are so FU :angry:G aNoYiNg,to build..Lately, I've been putting together some cool door slammer cars, Outlaw,10.5,etc.Anyway,I was always trying to look for roll cages to modify. And those cages, were the worst, in my opinion. No matter what, they just would fall apart, when putting them together,,Now I just build my cages from scratch, as I 'am sure most of you guys do..However, I will say, that the chassis (tubs),are great to use as a starting point, for almost any drag car builds...You know,Just a thought, is all.
