Yea for some reason,i really liked the Pinto too.You don’t see them on the road anymore.The woman who owned it was so nice.The car was all original,including the paint,and it had really low miles on it.She got second place in her class. -

Yup,so I got it from the club’s president that for the third year in a row the LIARS(Long Island Auto Replica Society)model show/swap meet,contest,got axed..I think the venue,a rec center,wanted the show that is held the second weekend in November,in their gymnasium cause of Covid.The president claimed he was unable to get enough volunteers,who really knows.?♂️Just sucks.?

Welp the last show of the season..Great show,probably 350-400 really nice cars showed for the final Fall LI car show.Why not,it was about 75-80 degrees.Enjoy the pix.For me,my vote IMO for the best car at the show,and there were a lot of really nice cars,this was just a few..But for me,I thought the 70 Plum Crazy Purple Road Runner was a dream car of mine,and should’ve gotten best in show..??And then at 5 O clock,the show ended,it was dark out,(Day light savings),bla.?.And everybody just split all at once.

Ahhh???So i’m shaving,i take off my eye glasses off,and snap,the frame breaks..The glasses cost my a lot of $$,and they are only a year old.So now i had to tape the arm,so the lens doesn’t come out.And of course i didn’t have a back up pair.Welp now i’ve got to get a new frame.Only problem is since they broke after the year was up,November 1st,making the warranty to get a new frame no charge,has passed.???

You are referring to the brown one?Yea that is definitely one of my favorite cars,and I have seen it at a lot of shows.The top and seats just add more of a coolness to that fine Mopar.Glad you guys are enjoying the pics.And like i said,I’am planning to attend tomorrows show,well actually todays show,considering it’s 1am eastern time as i’am writhing this,lol,and I hopefully will be able to grab some pics of other cars.

Yea the show was packed,last week,and tomorrows final show should also pretty crowded.It’s put on by LI Cars,and they always do a great job.And give everyone a fair share when judging.And their trophy’s are huge,and really nice.

St.James which is a few miles east of Port Jefferson.Then tomorrow is the last big show at a place called Bald Hill in Medford,Suffolk county.Not sure how familiar you are with LI.I see from your profile you live in West Chester.

This show was actually last Sunday.While coming this Sunday November 6th will be the last Fall car show,& swap meet of the season,except for some of the Sunday “cars and coffee” shows.They are held all year round,except if it’s snowing of course.But going to a car show at 6 AM in the cold weather,isn’t really for me.???Enjoy the pics.My favorite had to be the replica Adam 12 police car owned by a very nice couple,and its the wife’s car.She took 2nd in her class(special interest).

Holy SH**,Wow that must have been some show.Actually all the photos eventually popped up.These we’re some of my favorites.The F40 Ferrari would be my 1st favorite choice,but that’s a choice that i would pick against any car at any show,just IMO.Love that car…However there were some of the most incredible cars I’ve ever seen..And i noticed the Kindig Vette..Along with a Countach,and a Vector..Great photos..Thanks for posting them,??Big bucks!!!$$$$

Well as i said,i spoke to the president of the club.According to him the show was called on account of not having enough volunteers from the club,and the rec center didn’t want it on cause of Covid.He added that several club members dropped out of the club.Ah what can u do.

Yup,ur probably right.Ah oh well,i didn’t have anything new to put in the show anyway.And I was also told that one of the vendors who had a HUGE amount of kits,new and old,along with a ton of extras,(decals,paint,etc),retired and will not be coming to anymore shows.Welp i guess i gotta wait another year.?

IDK,beats me,they just decided to cancel again.I actually just confirmed with the club’s president that once again,the show was called off..And the show is only 30 mins away from my house.The only show held on LI.But they do hold meetings and auctions every third Thursday of the month,i believe..I guess I’ll go to their next meeting/auction.The president said he couldn’t get enough help to hold the show.And the place where the show is held,didn’t want the show to go on because of Covid.Like i said,it just sucks.That’s,once again the third year in a row,the show was axed.?♂️☹️?.

Found out that once again for the third year in a row due to Covid,that the LIARS,club,which is Long Island Auto Replica Society,is canceling their fall model show,and contest again.?♂️
