  1. Thanks for the link, Harry. Those are some nice kits. I'm going to get the Berlin tram. I'm planning to visit the New York Transit Museum again in the next couple of weeks. They have a comprehensive collection of handbuilt trolley, trackless trolley and buses on display. If you're interested, I'll take pictures and post them here.
  2. That's Christina Hendricks. She was in "Mad Men". I first saw that photo in the N.Y. Daily News about five years ago. She looks like every other Goth chick who hung out at CBGB's, along the Bowery and at Trash & Vaudeville on St.Mark's Place back in the 1980s and 1990s, which isn't a bad thing. I personally like that look.
  3. Diana Rigg made a cameo appearance earlier in this show. She can stop by anytime she feels like. Julia Child, Epicurean Assassin.
  4. Mamie in "Vice Raid":
  5. Mamie Van doren, of course! From one of my favorite teen exploitation flicks, "Untamed Youth" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBp99SZ0YMs
  6. Yup, gotta agree. Too bad that the band doesn't tour much, though.
  7. Ditto what Ray said. Pretty darned nice for an express job.
  8. What a great looking model, Harry. I love old streetcars and trolleys and this is a beauty.
  9. Scorpions were a great band. I have RCA Records studio tapes from the mid '70s buried somewhere. I got those when I worked as an engine room helper in the building where RCA's Manhattan recording studios were located. Then, there's Spider Murphy Gang and Strassenjungs from Germany and Plastique Bertrand from France
  10. Barnaby Jones' daughter-in-law, Lee Meriwether.
  11. Barbara Hershey. She played Chuck Yeager's wife in "The Right Stuff".
  12. ARGH! My brain hurts. She was in "Remington Steele" and I can't remember her name!!!!
  13. This is going to be a tough one. Hint: She was in the first theatrical musical.
  14. I forgot to put that in my post. I figured somebody would point that out after Barbara Parkins.
  15. I got a desk appearance ticket for that.
  16. Especially when you're wearing a 75 foot long scarf and bedbug-incubating ski cap in July because it's, like yah, all about form over substance. Like, where's the K-Y Jelly, maaaan? I can't get my legs into my girlfriend's skinny jeans! I gotta dress for a major pow-wow at the big chief's wigwam.
  17. Sue Lyon again before her distemper shot.
  18. Nowhere as good as the original series. Too many great plots and guest stars.
  19. Barbara Parkins. She was in the series "Peyton PLace". I had to suffer through that dreck on TV as a kid because Mom loved the show. She also starred in "Valley of the Dolls" along with Patty Duke, Paul Burke (Det. Adam Flint in the TV series "Naked City"), Martin Milner (Tod Stiles in "Route 66" and Officer Malloy in "Adam-12") and Sharon Tate.
  20. You neglected to mention that he played Paul Drake, Jr. in those gawdawful and tediously long "Perry Mason" TV movies.
  21. Yup. She's the only major cast member from "Perry Mason" still alive.
  22. If you have the opportunity, check out the actresses in pre-Motion Picture Production Code (also known as the "Hays Code) films. A lot of actresses who were stars in the late '30s to the '50s were cast in some meaty roles. That kind of skin wasn't seen again until 1968 when MPAA started rating films based on content.
  23. Dorothy Malone. She was in "The Killer That Stalked New York", with Evelyn Keyes, which was on TV last week. Charles (Carlos, the Mambo instructor from "The Honeymooners") starred as the dirty rat in this film
  24. Died too young.
  25. Hey Matt, is there a problem with your PM? It indicates that you can't receive PMs.
