Hi, So I built up the car using Micro Liquitape. I am preferring this method as it helps me achieve a better work flow. I simply don't have enough experience to anticipate anything during the build process. Building it up and tearing it down to do a final assembly seems to work really well for me. She is totally built up and am contemplating how to pull off a race version. But man, what an ugly car, wondering what possessed me to get it. PS Will do an alcohol bath on her over the weekend for tear down.

Hi, As The World Turns here. So I've been leaving the body on a Tamiya paint stand with the springs set some what medium-high to keep it firmly in place. It gets hot in my work area when I'm gone and noticed 1 side of the body warped out about 1/4" to my horror. So after a few days of on/off heat, I was able to straighten her out but the paint needs a fresh coat. Another painful lesson. Hope to post further pics this weekend.

Hi, Image Shacks pricing, not too bad, oh and sorry peteski, seems like you keep playing hopscotch with your pics. Sux in fact. I know that I've said hey if you don't like PB move on. But all in all there approach has seemed very Draconian. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/06/30/photobucket_charging_400yr_3rdparty_pgs/ PS One thing to realize is that if this catches on, others will follow similar pricing structure. It might be wise to caclulate man hours involved in migrating to other hosting providers just to have them do the same, vs paying the loot; i.e $400/year. -
Hi, I'm assuming a Revell rep reads this forum. It's a fabulous place so I'm certain other model companies do as well. It would be quite swell to hear from them with regards to the reasoning behind those laughable tires.
-
Hi, I really like that Revell is doing Nascar again but man what's up with those tires? They look like big ol doughnuts, weird. Kinda reminds me what they did on there Carrera RS 3.0, just an odd choice in tire. I think Revell does great kits but sometime there are these moments were I say to my self; WTF.

Hi, It didn't change as a policy, but looks to be sorta broken. This seems to creep up now and again with either configuration updates or system updates. The thing I really wish to emphasize here is that tech and policy can change daily. So terms and how things work are fluid. I mean to say IT is always changing/updating technicals. And management is always changing/updating policy. Just something to always try and be aware of. -

Hi, I tried to register, even created a forum etc... but could not log into servimg, lame. Read a few posts about this being a problem over the years. Also there support says to not use the password reset on servimg but rather use the one on forumotion. To me that says poor design and integration; i.e. bad technicals. So I'm going to recommend against it. I'm looking at Image Shack and so far like there terms as you still own your content rather then them owning it. Also the idea of using Pinterest sounds intriguing as well. -
Original source for desired decal?
aurfalien replied to aurfalien's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Hi, Yep no worries, it was fun researching this. I ended up buying the copy even though it will only work on a white back ground and is one continues sheet which requires cutting. No biggy but I really wanted those decals so I'll put up with the quirks. -

Hi, Interesting, all the VFX/graphic artists I work with have been suggesting that site as well. Nice post. I'll have to finally give it a ponder. -
Hi, W0W! Looks hot, I may also get one, just one though and do OBB. Stunner for sure.

Hi, Well, unfortunately I got a bounce back when trying to email the now defunct SCW. The email used was scalecoachworks@wi.rr.com. -

Hi, I spoke to Micheal from Scale Production in Germany and he has never seen this decal. Would you happen to have more info om who put them out? I couldn't find any info on a Scale Productions per sé. PS Looks like It's Scale Coach Works? -

Hi, Why get mad about it, just move on. Again I don't get this mentality. As long as there are other options, then there is no issue. Sure it sux but I think instead of being nasty with them etc... that if many ppl told them it seems unreasonable to charge so much for simple image linking then they may listen and change. Writing them letters with colorful vernacular won't influence anything. Seems like Pinterest and Flickr are the top contenders. -

Hi, Oh dayam, I buy from Michael all the time. Thanks for the info, MUCH appreciated. I'll ask Michael if it's possible to just buy the decals. Thanks again. I'm unsure if mentioning this to Micheal will only aggravate him or make a difference. BTW, I'm waiting for his 73' RSR trans kit to become available again, should be AWESOME. -

Hi, That's actually a funny picture, well done. But on a more serious note, why would you be nasty with them? You got a free ride for almost 2 decades which is great. You should thank them as you move off to another service which will eventually raise there rates. I'm not following the mentality here. It's very interesting that you expect anything on line to be free or near free, which probably includes this site. I dare to ask many who are regulars here, do you have an MCM subscription? It's how Greg keeps this resource alive. I only got it to do exactly that, keep it up for all of us to enjoy. Hell, I haven't even received the mag yet and I can tell you that I'll thumb through and enjoy it. But it won't really be my thing as I build GT/endurance racers and the only mag to cater to that is long gone being MRRN. Nothing is really free, not even that good old Obama phone from several years ago. -

Hi, It mimics what you said. The P500 you mention I assume is Plus 500 above being $39.99/mo or $399.99/year. Are we not saying the same thing? Here is the link; http://photobucket.com/pricing Hope this is what you are asking for. -
