  1. For sure the gold base! Build this model kit last year and will watch your work. The model kit itself is a good choice. I liked it to build.
  2. This is what I would do too or - like it was written too - Tamiya masking tape. You'll definitely get better results and a sharper line between the colors.
  3. Same day, same .... fun! :P

  4. Thank you very much for the compliments
  5. Sorry, right. It's the B18. I was thinking about my Accord Wagon (Aerodeck in Germany ) with it's F20B3 engine. So I stupidly wrote an F I always wanted to put the 2.2 Liter from a 1990 Accord into the 1979 Accord - 150PS and 860kg weight That would be great.
  6. funny I know such situations by my self. Sometimes there is a point to finish a model - don't mater about the costs
  7. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.... Oh! I see ^^ that some words will be corrected
  8. Great statement Your idea is awesome
  9. For sure, I take a look on your work. I'm a Honda driver since I learned to drive and I collected a lot of Honda model kit. I saw, that you got the Revell Civic Coupe. The advantage of that kit: you would be able to switch to the base of the Coupe with the cool engine. So you could open the hood
  10. Your work is awesome
  11. I like the 58 Impala. Your low rider looks good. I like the matching of the colors. The folding seat is a good idea and the details in the engine compartment are well done. The only thing I don't like is the gap between the door panel and inner door
  12. This is really beautiful Like the used look and all the details (sponge, Teddy sticker in the windshield ..) Very well done. A cute detail are the eye stickers on the bonnet - so cute. The rusted bumpers and hub caps are awesome. All the other rusted spots are quit right positioned. It's just right, not to much. It looks so real.
  13. The Truck is awesome! Love the conversion to day cab and - for sure - the mass of details (mirrors, lightbar..)
  14. It's the same with the International ProStar kit by Revell. Moebius is printed into a part of the roof
  15. I love the CanDo Wrecker most. The colors and stickers look so fantastic The kit is so hard to get in Germany and the prices are incredibly high. To high. It's crazy. Not one below 60 Euros for the past 6 months. Looking forward for the reissue.
  16. I'd like to thank you for the kind word and the welcome greetings
  17. Thank you very much for your compliments
  18. A warm good morning from Germany! I did some brainstorming while I was sorting out my model kits to reduce my collection and grabbed some gluebombs. I think it's a good idea and: I'm in! Please put me on the list with a 1964 Mini (Tamiya): My plan: to put a Honda F18 engine in it Everything else will be open to the ideas while I smack this thing together Donor car:
  19. Thank you, Rob. Yes, he told me about the contest and - not only for that - I'm really proud to be his brother His imagination and creativity is awesome. And when we meet each other in his home (we live approx. 330km / 200mi apart) I always get one "how to" lesson. And: it's astonishing, how fast he works. He has a basic knowledge where I'm thousands miles away. But: for my work it's good enough. Yesterday we "brainstormed" via whatsapp a little and I decided, to take part at the Cannonball run 2015.
  20. Thank you again
  21. Thank you guys I appreciate it. It was hard for me to get the effect like it looks now. I planed it in a different way but after the dirt was on the body, I'm really satisfied with the out coming. I want to mention, that before I painted the body, I sanded it with 60s sand paper. The surface is very rough but I wanted to have the blank steel look like a stainless body. After I primered the body, the surface was smoother and I was a little disappointed. But after all the painting, it turned out well. I'm very happy with it.
  22. Thank you for the Kind words I appreciate that I switched to some memories of the youth. It's the same for me. I built the Cabrio approx. 25 years ago and sold it with a bunch more cars in 2007-2008. The funny part of the old one above: it turned from grey metallic to red as seen on the picture. So I bought the Cabrio new because of the memories and built it with my skills nowadays. I still have the very first built car in my model-building-career - a 1982 Chevrolet Camaro from Revell. @Mike ... I saw the Porsche some weeks ago and have to say: the engine compartment looks awesome! If this would be the compartments of the kit I'd opened them for sure.
  23. Both are pretty. I like the 1949 Ford
  24. Does this model exist in real at all? I only know the later model as a kit. I like the front. You did a good job - your conversation turned out very well!
  25. Wow! The front and rear end looking so massive! Beautiful color with very nice applications. It looks very nice.
