  1. Nice work so far! I'll try my best to describe, how I would paint the back lights. I'd start wit the black frame and lines between the chambers. For small lines I use an Edding pen. There is a sort of them in Germany they are kind of "touch up pen" (silver, white e.g.). It's really thin and with a lot of feeling - that couldn't be a problem for a modell kit builder - it's possible to draw the thin lines. After that, i'll be a piece of cake to get the red chambers red and the amber chamber amber colored Another try could work: paint the colored chambers in their color and after it's dry, paint a silver overlay. Again: with a lot of feeling it could be possible to and away the color over the partitions of the chambers. When the color is away, it could work to paint black over it. Hope you understand, what I was writing. I did the second described procedure on my 1/16 Trans am and the result is pretty good
  2. The Smart ist awesome! @Rob ... What engine do you have ?
  3. I see some nice processes here! But to be kept in mind, that my Mini is still in work What have I done? I did some more fitting of the engine into the engine compartment and it's parts (generator, radiator and intake manifold) I'm satisfied so far. It all fits somehow Then I thought it would be cool to fit the Honda dashboard, middle console and seats into the cute tiny interior - well. I have to cut some sections out of the door panels to get the seats in. But: it will go!
  4. The only thing to pay attention to, is the fitting of the front and rear bumper. I build the Monogram it a couple times (the 1984 / 1988 and 1992 FiBi) and had no problems with it. It's a nice kit.
  5. Great car, really nice built and the colors matching great together. Love it
  6. Cool to see this little thing built Sweet
  7. This is an awesome built! When I was looking at the pictures, I thought about, the the body looks longer than I remember. I have some 40s Ford in my shelf so I wasn't really sure, what you have done with it. The sectioning is awesome! Fabulous work!
  8. This Camaro is beautiful I like the color and the trim is just beautiful. Clean built. Very nice!
  9. Holy ..... this is a lot of weathering wow.
  10. Wow! The paintjob looks so nice. The interior matches very good to it.
  11. The paintjob is awesome and the rims are a great addition to the Jaguar. When I read your sentences, I'm "happy" to go on at my little gluebomb I bought on ebay last year
  12. The rims are great on the bus. If you want to be correct, it's a Type 2 T1 - T1 for the first Generation
  13. boring? No way! The Accord Wagon (or Aerodeck - like it's called in Germany) was the best looking Wagon on earth I love the lines and the reliability. I drove one about 11 years and if it hadn't broke down I would drive it this day further one. Your built looks pretty. I like it. I like the color. To answer some questions of the audience This model kit is from Aoshima (kit #02773-2400) ---> see box / rims or the first release #019344 ... there are two other /stock!) kits of it but only this kit has those rims. My Wagon was the same #017470-1300 #017944-1300 ....and some tuned versions. Because I owned this car and I'm a Hondalover, I have bought a lot of those kits. Three are built so far but only, when I own the kit twice. One kit built, one kit in the stash. If I'm allowd to post my car:
  14. Amphicar! Never thought about this car as a kit Pretty cool
  15. Let's play I remember when I was building the 1972 Chevy Pickup.... ....that it's frame is similar to the Chevy. Because I have the old Camper in my stash, I'll take a look into the box and it's frame this evening.
  16. The idea with the light in the camper is great! Nice build and progress. Like the structured wood. To answer your question: I got the Chevy Pickup in one piece. Took away the bed and from the first testing to the final mounting: the camper fitted perfect to the body (edges, wheel houses...). It looked like that it was planned to get a camper on it while they developed the Chevy. I used screws to get it on the base
  17. Black parts instead of chrome looks pretty good! Like the yellow glasses too.
  18. The paintjob and color looking very good!
  19. It goes on Cool. The dripped fuel is a pretty good idea! If I may have some little details to mention, what's not quite in the right colors. Usually the lids in the spare wheel area are black. Except, they painted them over some days Also I miss a little black cap on the "bottles". And another small thing: the tubes for the drive shafts are all black. Please don't misunderstand me: your work is great! But I think, you could fix the two little things
  20. Thank you for the statement about the wrong parts. Never heard in Germany about this issue. Not yet I'd like to link to two kit introductions in a German forum for those, who are not sure to have the right bagged parts. VW Golf 1 GTI - Revell #07072 VW Golf 1 Cabriolet - Revell #07071 I know, it's German but the pictures speaking in every language
  21. Honda Accord (1/24 - LS - #C611-800) Cadillac Eldorado (1/25 - Revell - #1244) Pilots and ground personal (1/48 - Revell - #H-2275) The contrary to the Space Shuttle: Energija Buran (1/288 - STC Start - #121059) or by "Reifra" (1/288) 1960 Chrysler New Yorker De Luxe St.Regis (1/24 - Revell) 1960 Volkswagen (1/25 - Premier - #270)
  22. Now I went through all the 45 pages and I'm astonished, what (partly) beautiful model kits were out there in former times! I like the 1/24 / 1/25 Honda of cause and have to say "Hey, I have one of the posted cars" And 4door Corvette (Monogram - #2269)
  23. What issues are there? I know some builders in Germany who didn't have any issues with parts or something else.
