i've only ever seen the box cover, so had no idea what, if any, other wheels may have been included. Cragars are fine with me.

My first WIP here; '70 Dodge Challenger T/A, Parts
Roadrunner replied to Roadrunner's topic in WIP: Model Cars
To be quite honest, I'm leaning toward the T/A. I had one finished, with a Flinstone figure, but gave it to a neighbor when I moved. -
Interesting color choices; should look great.
-
Real nice progress here. You certainly have more patience than I do.

Looks like great results to me. Your Ford is looking real good. -
Thanks, Rich. I'm already seeing a lot here that I like.

Looks great. Interesting color too.

Good looking stuff, no question about it.

My first WIP here; '70 Dodge Challenger T/A, Parts

Sort of. This photo was taken some time back. At this point I'm not sure which one to choose, Monogram or AMT. (These kits are all in a storage facility right now, or I'd get better photos.) -
I liked the Red Baron, but never had a desire to buy or build it. I never heard of this hot dogger car until today. I do like some of the old Weird-ohs cars though.

Me too, and I'm sure I will.

It does seem like it would be fun. I also noticed that this thread has been moved, so I'll keep that in mind for my next questions of this sort.

Minor update for sure, but today I was able to draw up the generic pattern that will serve as a basis for the three display inserts. -
OK, Casey, thanks for the input. Once I have a few extra bucks in my pocket (and that may be a while), I'lll probably go ahead and grab one. There seem to be some acceptable wheel/tire combinations in other 1:16 kits that I may be able to use on one of these.
-
Thanks, Bill. That starts me off in the right direction. I suspect that with few exceptions, most of my stuff will end up all closed, so opening doors and such are really not all that important to me right now, as long as the overall proportions seem correct.
-
My best search efforts here yielded zero, so can anyone tell me if this kit is a good one? I've always liked the Nomads, and a stab at a 1:16 kit sounds great, but I have no familiarity with the kit. Also, is there any AM for it?
-
Excellent. I have to add one of these to the "must get" list.

Please don't think me rude, but I am unable to reply to your PM. I tried several times, but with no success. Looks like I’ll have to work out a few bugs here with my settings. Regards,

Very intersting project. More work than I'd care to do, but definitely cool.
-
Unfortunately, nothing. I moved out of that house about four months ago, and I had discovered these prior to that. The Schwinn and Pirates models have already been sold on, but I think I'll kept the truck, not 100% sure, as the majority of my kits are in a storage facility at the moment.

Monogram 1970 Challenger T/A Rebuild-Under Glass 03-13
Roadrunner replied to mustang1989's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Real nice job so far. I'm sorry to say that I don't have one single car from my youth to rebuild, or I certainly would. -

Yes, I added a tag to that intent. -
Not real sure if this will be an R/T or T/A (I have both), but I'll be starting one or the other very soon. In the meanwhile, I painted this base years ago, fooling myself into thinking it was something original; gloss black with multi colored flakes from a craft shop. My intent was/is to construct three inserts for the top; concrete, grass, and gravel, then use whichever one of them suits my mood, to display finished models on (display space is at a real premium here where I currently live).

OK, Tom, I'm intrigued; what's the story with the two AMX kits? They look brand new, but also appear to be antiquated MPC kits. Thanks for any clarification you can offer.
