  1. I was utterly stunned when I figured out who this little girl from a Twilight Zone episode turned into.
  2. I've seen that hanging on the wall of a local Bass Pro shop.
  3. I realize I'm a bit late to the party, but she was also briefly in an early Three Stooges episode.
  4. It's an awesome kit. I've went ahead and done a full review as well (for another site). It was an especially nice gift to receive, and quite unexpected. I've already purchased some Barracude 'pit upgrades for it, and will be buying more stuff for sure. I've had the decals for the particular machine I'm wanting to do for some time now, so some more resin and canopy masks (and Alclad), and I'll be ready to go. With any luck at all, I'll be taking the finished model to Omaha in 2017 for the IPMS nationals.
  5. My latest, a 1:32 Tamiya Mustang, and what an impressive model it is. I'll be doing it as an Iwo Jima based machine, my all-time favorite Mustang. Kit compliments of a fellow forum member (different forum).
  6. These just arrived in the mail today (review samples), six sets of Zotz 1:32 F-4 Phantom II decals. Now I need to buy a case of 1:32 Tamiya Phantoms!
  7. Just arrived in the mail yesterday (review sample), the Kinetic 1:24 P-47 Razorback Thunderbolt (from VFS molds).
  8. I'd been wanting to snatch another of these Mustangs, ever since I completely botched the paint on this one, so today was the day. Hobby Lobby, 40% off.
  9. I used to epoxy my bottle of cement to a 12" square piece of Masonite. That prevented many a tip-over.
  10. Thanks a bunch, Gino. The DML box art was killer, so I decided to recreate it the best I could.
  11. OK, thanks.
  12. Now that I finally figured how to post photos, I'm thrilled silly. Getting that spinning wheel of death was driving me bats, and I was using up my storage capacity fast, so I'm a happy, happy guy.
  13. Neither am I. In fact, I've never even viewed a copy. The LHS sells it, but I'm perfectly OK with just the site.
  14. Your booth will be 12.25 cu ft, so a 125 CFM blower, will evacuate the entire contents of the booth a little over 10 times every minute, and I'd think that would be more than adequate. My own booth, at 18 cu ft, and with two blowers running in tandem, drawing a combined 424 CFM at a guesstimated 0.300-in SP (static pressure), will evacuate all air volume of paint booth 23.55 times per minute.
  15. I can't really tell, where did this contest take place?
  16. Ironically enough, one of the best modelers in St Louis at that time (Ron Foulks, now deceased), did the exact same scheme at that exact same time, but in 1:48 (Tamiya kit) and just blew mine away.
  17. One of the winter schemes I talked about, also done more than 20 years ago, the DML 1:72 Ar 234.
  18. And here we go. Please keep in mind that this was built around 25 years ago (1991 or thereabouts), from the antiquated Hasegawa kit. I didn't re-scribe it or weather it too much, as I was just then seriously getting back into the hobby. I had originally stated this is an E-4, but it might well be an E-3, hard to say from this old 35mm image. I can't help but think I could do lots better now, and would use the wonderful Cyber Hobby 1:32 109E-4 as a basis.
  19. On one of the other forums I belong to, I really had some fun. I asked what SWMBO meant (I really had no idea). When it was explained to me, I said "Oh, you mean guys that let women boss them around". Man, did that stir up some conversation!
