  1. I’m for sure going. Lemme know the damage on the 454ss truck kit we talked about.
  2. Does anyone have any entry forms for this show? I’ve contacted Chuck and haven’t gotten anything yet.
  3. Thanks Mike! I didn’t keep up with the WIP pics on here like I should have. But a bunch of you guys were following on fb which is great!
  4. Thank you very much. It started with 2 herniated discs in my neck which lead to my arm not moving and my hand being weak, which lead to neck surgery. Then 4 weeks later my arm was functional but hand not so much. So after some more mri scans they found a pinched nerve in my elbow, so I had to go for emergency surgery for that. Im a little over a month post op from that and currently have some limited use of my hand with the help of a radial nerve hand brace. Hope it all comes back...only time will tell.
  5. Thanks for the plug @mikemodeler ? still my favorite snap kit to date.
  6. Thanks man!! Thanks Chris! Thank you. Thank you very much. This was a very good kit, just has a million body parts to have work done lol Thank you. Thank you!! Thanks man. thanks David Thanks!!
  7. Thank you. Luckily my dominant hand wasn’t compromised. But it’s still aggravating none the less to try to find ways to hold things lol. I had to get my wife to put the window masks on to spray them black. She did a fine job, so from now on she will be the designated window masker ?

  9. Love this. Super clean build. These cars hold a special place in my heart. My first car was an 87 conquest tsi. Between my dad and I, we had over 20 of these from 83-89 models. I’ve got to get one of these kits, wish they made the tsi later model ones.
  10. Fresh off the workbench. Tamiya Mercedes AMG GT3 1/24 scale. I’m proud to have finished this one up despite having some issues with my hand. This one was built almost completely with one functional hand. My original plan for the American flag livery went away when the decals exploded when they hit the water. So stay away from SlotFabrik decals if you ever see them. It is built pretty much box stock, with some self made Carbon Decals from Tamiya. The color is Ford Blue Flame Metallic from scalefinishes and is topped with some splash-paints 2k clear. Super excited to add this one to the collection. Thanks for looking.
  11. Thank you sir. Much appreciated so far the fastest build to date as well ?
  12. Thanks man! Love Tamiya tape for those clean lines
  13. I took some time this afternoon and finished a little more carbon work on the interior. There is still more detailing left to be done, running wires and such...but I’m calling it a night with this.
  14. Thank you very much! Thanks man! It’s definitely a lot of work but worth it. The tire markings came with the aftermarket decals luckily. I’ve been wanting some since my Pennzoil R34 build.
  15. I managed to find my valve stems in my stash of wheels. So I drilled out the wheels, got them installed and painted some reference marks on the spokes for quick location. I also got my stickers in for my modeling page over on instagram.
  16. Alright. I got a little more carbon work done tonight on the AMG, but not much. Also got the suspension detailed and mounted and detailed the tires And wheels. I’m trying to find some valve stems in stock to buy, and I’ll add those, but I’m having no luck so far.
  17. Thank you. So far it is very nice except for the mold lines on the body that had to be addressed. Typical great Tamiya fitment though
  18. I did some more carbon work, and got the window trim and front splitter painted semi gloss black to get ready for more carbon fiber decal work. The rear diffuser probably took the longest out of anything I’ve ever done. I’m using Tamiya Fine Weave Carbon decals.
  19. Thank you! The livery has a lot of work to be done for sure. The carbon was. It precut decals, it was all self made by myself. Lots of templates and cutting.
  20. I was able to get some carbon work done last night. Forgot how pain staking this stuff is but well worth the end result every time. I also got the brake rotors detailed out
  21. Got some color laid down last night, excited to see this finally getting somewhere. Hope to start decals this weekend maybe.
  22. Back at the bench after a long break from this one. Here’s the progress as of now. I got all the body work completed, all the semi gloss black parts painted, some carbon work done and the body ready to spray. Hopefully tonight I can get some color laid down.
