A 2 door wagon.....NOW THATS KOOL!!!!!!!

WAIT! Chassis, as i stated before, from the ElCamino would be WRONG for the wagon!! The ElCamino chassis from any issue has the gas tank between the frame rails in the rear of the car, WHICH IS INCORRECT for the wagon. The gas tank in the wagon is inside the rear quarter panel on the driver side. there is a stowage area where the gas tank would normally be in between the frame rails in the rear behind the rear bumper. Dont forget the spare tire well on the pass side too. Ill see if i can scare up some pics of my wagon i had. Jay

Dencon, (sorry Bud, i dont know your name yet) I do have the flat Malibu hood, but being the master, the hood is molded in. I was going to build a replica of my 71 Nomad, id cut the hood out, but its on epay now, so if it doesnt sell, ill do my car. Jay

Me too, Me too! I want 1 of each. I have the 72 Drag City Casting Master on epay as we speak. Its just a little rough for my taste. The door lines are a little rough. Steve, that is because the 67 is 1/24 and the Camino is 1/25 That would be a good chassis to use for the wagon because of the detail, but we are all forgeting the wagon underpinnings such as the cargo area and the side mounted gas tank that is in the driver side quarter panel. And also the spare tire stowage area in the pass side q-panel. J

On the contrary, Eds original wagon was NOT designed to use the coupe frame. I have Eds master of the 72 wagon and it does not fit on the coupe frame. Jay

Thanks for all the praises on the "Black Nightmare" If anyone has this car planned in their future, contact me, Ill give you some do's and suggestions. I did the interior in Testors Flat Red #1250, and after it dried, i dusted all the pieces with a gloss clear from real far away, to add a little texture. Thanks! Jay

This one sucked, nothing fit right, very warped panels, air bubbles and everything else. Hours of sanding to make things flat, but paint went on nice. Code AA Tuxedo Black. If i were to do a real 1:1, this is how i see it.

I can do a model of a long lost friend, my 71 Nomad Mr. Ed Fluck II used to cast the 72 Wagon, I have one of the very last ones he made.

Starting with MCW Resin 68 Biscayne i picked up at Toledo last fall, Done in code AA Tuxedo Black, and it will have a red interior, 4 speed, 427 with poverty caps. If i could only find a real one, id do it the same way. Jay

A friend asked me a while ago to build a replica of his Street Stock. He owns Samcoe RV here in Buffalo. I Think it came out ok. AMT kit i had to work with was a 74 so i had to modify the rear panel, open the side windows up and hand made the decals. Im excited to call him and tell him its done, hes gonna love it!

Fellas, I am part owner of a sign shop and we make weatherproof decals all the time. If i went ahead and made MODEL CARS decals and maybe just charged a buck each, would that be ok? Id need permission from the Magazine to do this, but i would do it if they said i could. I can also do the AMT sticker in vinyl too. Jay
