  1. Does anyone make a resin or aftermarket injection setup with stacks to fit the Hemi in the Stone Woods & Cook Willys? Anyones help would be greatly appreciated!!
  2. I just threw up in my mouth...Looks like a Lear jet swallowed an Isetta.
  3. Would it be safe to say that the original top material was what we call a "Hartz" top? Almost like a suede type?
  4. I HIGHLY suggest Jimmy Flintstone over R&R. Jimmys casting is atleast void of air bubbles and complete voids. R&R is completly aweful when it comes to casting quality, and your almost sure to have alot of air bubbles and most likely voids in the casting. Its truely unfortunate, because R&R has alot that all the other casters do not. If you have advanced skill, you will need all of it for the R&R. If it were me, id buy them both and use the JF body, and the R&R interior bucket (im sure that is a real mess too, but if that is all you have, then...) Good luck, and please show and tell!!!
  5. My mouth is watering for some delicious pics!!!

  7. Wow! i love the color!! just look at that shine. what paint did you use?
  8. See the Resin Realm. You will find what you need there. I wanted to do a model of my real ride. http://www.resinrealm.net/index.html
  9. Absolutely stunning!!!!! i especially like how you have masterfully created the galvanized coating on the mufflers, wow!

    75 Cutlass

I just love those sculpted fenders and quarters
  12. I too am a huge fan of johan, wheather it be the early stuff (old flat boxes) or the seville stuff. I currently have 486 Johan kits. I have at least one of everything Johan put out. It has taken me about 20 solid years of dilligent collecting to amass my collection. Im constantly trolling ebay and other sites for more. Most are in storage, very well packaged and protected. I think it hs been atleast 10 years since it hs all been in one place, which makes me sad. One day ill get a small building i can properly display it.
  13. I color sand all the way up the grit scale to 8000, sometimes 12000 and then use NOVUS #2 and a t-shirt to polish out. I have won best pait at shows using this method.
  14. I just love the old box art, it took so much more talent for an artist to oil paint a car than to just take a pic.

    75 Cutlass

Im likin this project, it actually is inspiring me to dig out mine and do similar. Your promo is actually a 73/74. Johan got very lazy in those years and marked their 74 Cutlasses 75 and 76 without changing the body details. 1975 Cutlass has a different grill and some other subtile differences. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://v8cars.hu/cutlass/y76/75knight.jpg&imgrefurl=http://v8cars.hu/cutlass/stuff.php%3Fpage%3Dy76&usg=__DzWA2rCph6SuAfwctbCfBsBID3Y=&h=192&w=400&sz=25&hl=en&start=6&zoom=1&tbnid=5-JTmRWA7ExMtM:&tbnh=60&tbnw=124&ei=e33fT5TiMemR6gGym9HFCw&prev=/search%3Fq%3D1975%2Bcutlass%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DX%26gbv%3D2%26rlz%3D1W1_____en%26tbm%3Disch%26prmd%3Divns&itbs=1
  16. Id buy a few of each (chevelle, laguna and camino) As i have had all in 1:1
  17. with an exception with the shape of the front crossmember (under the oil pan) My choice will be the 69 Olds 442 chassis. nice detail and poseable steering.
  18. Anything new????
