  1. Nice build so far, a few accidents but aren't those in every build? Those molde lines on the roof are the vinyl top lines, at leats on my kit i used them as those. Great work!
  2. Ivs got the engine sorta done, this is a side burner project, here it is Sorry for bad quality pictures, dont have the best newest technology.
  3. Made some real progress, by the way what factory color is that red? My grandpa had a red one with cragars and eitheir a 383 or 440 (im not sure if that was the original motor or not)
  4. Im pretty sur they mean 392 as AMC made the 390, not chrysler
  5. Man, those were the days... heres my funny car from way back when, won 2nd place out of like a good 135 something cars. I wanted first really bad! Darn you spaceships!!!
  6. If you dont mind me asking what are the contents of the "purple pond". And by freezer do you mean like the literall kitchen one? Not to take over but i think i should explain my problem. Im trying to rescue a vintage snake and mongoose model and dont have any idea how to strip the paint and chrome, its decent but i would kie to redo it and make it a show-worthy model. Thanks in ahead of time for any help

  9. I bought it because I thought it was cool, btw everything is there, even decals. And the body to the snake looks like it was professionally done (it's already painted and decals on)

  14. This is for my mum, she is having a major surgery soon and I hope to get this done by her birthday in June. I spent about 1 and a half hours just smoothing out the chassis. Have no clue what motor goin in it but it'll be a Mopar.

  17. I made a modern V6 for a 2009 challenger base model by just cutting down the hemi, I bet you could try this also. I found that if you find the length of the V8 and the length of the V6 figure out scale-wise how much to cut. Beautiful paint work by the way!

  21. The rust is steel wool Instructions: 1. Get fine steel wool 2. Let it sit in saltwater for 2+ Days 3. Let it dry out for 3+ Days 4. Fiddle with it over a disposable cup to get the rust powder out 5. Get a Popsicle stick to get a little out when you need it

Here's a quick story, The original owner bought it new He totaled it at a Road track race The second owner bought it it 1976 Which it has a gold motor He sold it in 1983 The third owner found big cracks in the aluminum (I don't know if "cracks" are accurate) so he replaced the aluminum with steel
