  1. Fair, on mine it was weak as the intake wasn’t fully molded the only part of the kit it looks like the plastic was a little short there are a few others areas lacking like the plate on top of the tranny but for the most part it is nice
  2. I need to get back to them the Model T’s have been taking my interest up
  3. Thanks. I think I will let this one go but I might take you up on it in the future
  4. They work. I have a sheet of 1/35 WWII Russian armor numbers dry transfers I use also. They look sort of slapped in with a stencil
  5. Detail painting and some racing numbers
  6. Are they still around? I have seen some interesting Model T Speedster bodies they did would like to purchase
  7. Found these pics of the 4 wheel drive unit
  8. The ICM engine is nicer all around but 1/24 and I know some like 1/25 I want to print a decent DOHC head next maybe Frontenac or Roof BTW nice clean engine build and stand
  9. I'd like to get another one and use it as a base to make this
  10. Lot's of seam filling and sanding to go but I made a start on it. I like it better than the AMT kit except the fenders are cast with the frame. Most of it is just placed together not yet glued
  11. So driving down the road today I saw the modern version of the Beverly Hillbillies Truck. A big old (brand new) Dodge Ram Crew Cab with an overstuffed recliner in the bed Just add a widescreen TV and it would the 21st century version
  12. They are 3D printed plastic I used for checking the size. I am having some printed in brass to use as masters for offering resin cast ones. These are just the trial ones i dont like how the seat came out plus it’s too far back. Also my kit was missing the steering wheel so I am looking to cobble something together but it is fun. A lot of these T racers were made in the back yard and some used cut down 55 gallon oil drums as seats with some padding added
  13. Up on the tires now to do some detailing and painting
  14. Noticed that too. I saw it in the pic and went, oops, brain freeze. I really just wanted something quick and dirty to try the disc wheels on
  15. Converting the AMT 1927 T to a home built dirt track racer circa 1927 or so just a quickie back yard hack job its in primer now
  16. These fit the 1927 AMT T touring car kit tires. The other AMT T kit is slightly larger and will be a little loose but if I make the wheel any large it won’t fit these so I am going with this will post when the resin copies are ready
  17. Bit hard to photo due to the shine but these are the polished brass masters for making molds of the larger 1/24 size am waiting on the 1/25 size from shapeways
  18. Yup you are correct on the left and I assume on the other as well
  19. I like the one on the left better it is a little sturdier
  20. As I am working on some disc wheels for Model T's and want to cast them to fit someone here was kind enough to send me a tire from one of the kits. I also purchased the 1927 Model T Ford kit. What I found is there are at least two different size tires. In the pics below the 1927 T tire is on the left it is a bit harder vinyl than the other and has a ribbed tread as opposed to the tread pattern. It is also a slightly larger diameter but, interestingly enough, uses a slightly smaller wheel. The wheel from the 1927 T kit is just too loose for the other tire. I think (?) that a slightly larger wheel diameter will fit both as the tires stretch slightly but I will see
  21. Dark Cherry Red Maybe not a Shelby color but I think it would set it off
  22. Agree with all the superlatives looks great
  23. After running all the number the best I can do is $12 for a set of four wheels. I will offer in 2 sizes, 1/25 to fit AMT kit size tires, and 1/24 to fit ICM size tires. I won't take any orders until I have the sets in hand ready to ship but if you are interested in a set let me know and I will reserve a set for you just PM me. I will probably do 25 sets of the 1/25 size to start with since it is the more common size available.
  24. BTW if anyone has a spare tire from one of the above kits or another kit they want to check let me know, I would prefer just to get the tire, if i know what kit it comes from, than the whole kit
