  1. Perfect! Thanks! I have been wanting a daycab Road Commander and a Emeryville 400. Everything appears to be right hand drive, but I can fix that.
  2. Thanks! They have a couple of cabs that I have been wanting. About how long did it take after you ordered?
  3. Has anyone purchased anything from this place. They seem to have a lot of good stuff at good prices. They are in Australia so shipping is a little high. I was curious about service and quality. If anyone has purchased anything from them, please let me know what you think.
  4. Has anyone bought anything from this company. They appear to be in Australia. They seem to have a lot of resin cabs; including the 7000 White, the Emeryville, the Roadboss, the Donald Duck Emeryville conventional, etc. The prices seem very good as well, almost too good to be true. I was wondering about the quality and turn around time etc. If anyone has dealt with them, let me know.
  5. Man you nailed the Velvet Ride! This is going to be good! I hope that you are going to make the higher cab. All of the resin versions are the lower sitting cab. I’m looking forward to this one!
  6. Thanks! The front wheels are close, but not 100% accurate. They were something that I cobbled together. They started life as drive wheels that I think came with the Australian Revell W900. I cut them down and added rims and hubs.
  7. Thanks for all the comments guys!! This one is coming along a little.
  8. Thanks Scott!! Thanks Lee!!
  9. Beautiful build Warren!! Excellent work!!
  10. Thanks!! You have a good eye. I like them as well. They are larger in diameter and were a closer match in size to my rears.
  11. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Gary!! Thanks Dave!! Thanks Brian!! Thanks Victor! I had never seen one of Marks cabs until a few months back when I got this one in a trade. The KFS one looks great, but I didn't want a double bunk cab. This one was a pretty nice cab. Thanks Chris!! Thanks Steve!! Thanks Dan!! Thanks Helmut!! Thanks Warren!! There were a lot of these around back in the day. Thanks Larry!! Thanks Scott!! Thanks Carl!!
  12. Thanks Jeff!! Thanks for bringing this one back up again!!
  13. Thanks! The Bullnose hauler is on page 7 of Under Glass and the Race Truck is on page 6 Under Glass. If I knew how to post a link, I would.
  14. I have the Fleetstar as well and it is very thick. I will probably not open the hood on it. The Loadstar however is not thick at all. It should be fairly easy to butterfly the hood on this one.
  15. Thanks for posting the reference pictures. I wish that I would have seen that last one before I got this far. I had considered using those exact wheel, but decided to go with the spoke, as they seem to have been more common. Charles actually mastered the dash, door panels, seat and steering column, so I won’t have to scratch build any of that. I actually have a little experience with these. I put an engine in one of these outside with it 14 degrees. I was much younger then though.? Thanks again!
  16. This is the cab that was mastered by Charles Rowley and cast by AITM. It is the box from the Louisville Short Hauler and the frame from AMT Ford C Cab. The engine is from the AMT release of the old Ertl IH Scout. Here is the inspiration: Here is the progress:
  17. M11 and L10 Cummins were also available.
  18. The area around the grill will need to be filled. I would use styrene and super glue. Your filler panel in the back may need a little filler. If you get a tight fit there, super glue will be all that you need. You can begin to shape with as rough as 200 grit sandpaper, but I usually try to smooth everything out with at least 1000 grit before adding primer.
  19. Cool project!! The AMT T600 kit needs some work to be accurate. Fortunately for you, the real thing is available for reference. The grille will need to be modified to be accurate, the suspension isn’t accurate, the engine will need to be modified or replaced, I am also doubting that your truck has an auxiliary transmission, so that will need to be deleted. The rear of the frame should be modified to match your truck. You will also want wheels that are not split rims. It sounds like a lot, but it isn’t as bad as it sounds. You can make a rear cab panel from Evergreen styrene or just use a panel from the sleeper. I think that this kit has weed burner exhaust, but converting to a single stack will be no problem. Most everything that you need can be found. Ebay is a source, search “resin” in automotive model kits. Moluminum is a good source for wheels, tires, engines, etc. ST Supply in Canada has a lot of parts. There are also 3d printed part available, but look at them closely because there is some rough looking products be printed and sold, but there are some quality ones as well. Various headache racks are available aftermarket or you can scratch build one from styrene. You can also source parts from other kits such as your light bar. If you don’t mind sanding and fabricating this project can be done very well. I use superglue and styrene for body filler because I have had putty to shrink. I hope this helps, Brian
  20. This is an old Mark Savage cab. I think they are pretty rare now. They were very fragile. It is on the 4070a chassis. The engine is an M11 Cummins from Gary Wallace. The wheels and drive tires are Scenes Unlimited, the steer tires are Double Take, the headache rack is from RNK. I may build a log trailer in the future for this one.
  21. Thanks Scott!! Thanks so much DJ! Thanks Dan!! Thanks Brian!! Thanks!!
  22. I always like a Road Boss! Beautiful rig! The colors really set this one off! Nice work!
