  1. Very cool build! Excellent job on this one!
  2. Thanks for all the comments! This one is finally done. I will post some outside pictures Under Glass later.
  3. I’m making some progress on this one.
  4. Looks Awesome! Excellent work!
  5. Very nice! I built one of those a few years back! You did an excellent job on this one. What did you use on the tanks and the bumper? They look really good!
  6. Looks awesome! Excellent work Brian!!
  7. Absolutely beautiful! Excellent work!! The weathering is perfect!!
  8. I have put the dash out of the AMT R Model into the MPC DM cab before without any problem.
  9. Resin Model Ranch used to have one of these. If it says out of stock, contact him and he may be able to get you one. AITM made one as well, sometimes they show up on Ebay. Of course there is the earlier a little more crude versions such as the MTFA version. They also show up from time to time on Ebay.
  10. I know that there are other threads that discuss this company and this cab, but I personally haven’t been one to jump on the 3d printing bandwagon right away. I have several 3d printed parts. Some are okay, some have been pretty good. Often getting rid of the printing line without removing details has proved a bit difficult. There are also a lot of new 3d semi truck cab offerings that to me look a bit toyish, but pictures can often be misleading. However I just received my Ford W1000 from Texas 3d Customs today, and I’ve got to say that I am very impressed. This is hands down the best all around quality 3d cab that I have gotten or seen. Very little clean up will be needed. The service was also exceptional. I expected delays because of Christmas and New Years, but it arrived in about a week. So, this thread is for those who might have been a bit skeptical about ordering one of these like I was. I’m very pleased with the quality of parts and service that I received. Thanks!! Brian
  11. Thanks Gary! Thanks!! Thanks!! The arches are not 100% accurate on mine, but Ford either made tool boxes out of the wheel wells or just used filler panels. Repstock’s Branch build is an accurate representation. Thanks!! Thanks Jim!! I have too and this conversion although not perfect was the best that I have seen. Thanks Carl!! Thanks! Thanks Dan!! Same to you although a little late. Thankks!! Thanks Chris!! Thanks! I have a hard time picking a favorite myself. Thanks Warren, you know I like the odd stuff. Thanks!! Thanks!! Thanks!!, but I’m Brian? Thanks!! Thanks!! Thanks Scott!! Thanks Brian!!
  12. This is by far the best looking H Model Ford build that I have ever seen. First of all it looks like you got all of the dimensions right, something that none of the conversions have perfected yet. Second the details are excellent. Having built one of these recently, I have studied quite a few pictures of the real thing and you have nailed it. Last but not least, very clean work as always. I especially like the mirrors! Excellent work!!
  13. This is an old Mark Savage conversion. It is going to be powered by a Gary Wallace M-11 Cummins.
  14. Beautiful build! Excellent work as always!
  15. I picked up a few of the Rat Fink 4070a kits from Ollies, and the tires are hard as a brick. I have built the original Round 2 release of the 4070a and those tires were nice and flexible. I had to cut the inner lip on one side of each tire to get my wheels to go together properly. They seem even harder than the very original tires. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a problem with the compound of the tires that will cause an issue in the future?
  16. This is the AMT C cab with conversion parts from “Too Many Projects” (modelerrob on Ebay). It is on the 4070a chassis, which the tires were hard as a brick for some reason. It is powered by 220 Cummins (relative likeness) sitting at a tilt. I didn’t make the cab tilt on this one.
