  1. Would any of the parts from the Latest Round2 (ex-MPC) '69 Barracuda work on this new kit? A brief glance at the instructions shows there might be a few things that might be useful on the new '65. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/plymouth/1961-1970/mpc-killer-cuda-bar/?view=roll#1
  2. Found some more Resin Tires. http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/modern/scalexroundupeviewbg_2.html
  3. I have only One Hint.... Buy a Small, Cheap Plastic Tool Box. About 5" x 12" is big enough. Keep all of your tools in it. When done with a build session, all the tools go back in the box. When ready to start, all the tools are there. It is so frustrating to finally have time to build, and have to waste part of that time looking for tools. Makes a build session into a chore, instead of relaxing. Okay, one more hint. Get a cheap Building/ Cutting board. Any old flat thing will do. About 18"-24" wide, about the same tall. You'll use it all the time. You cut parts on it. Trim parts on it. Paint on it. Tape parts to it while they dry. You are going to put marks on it, spill paint on and generally beat it up. That's why I suggest getting a free piece if you can. Hope this helps. Good Luck! And: remember, "It's Only a Model"
  4. That's Perfect, John. That looks like the Air Cleaner from the Lindberg Kit. I have no '71 Duster kit, so I'll stick with what I can find in my stash. But the Photo really helps! Thank You!
  5. Thanks for sharing that link John! Nice to see that in 1965, Backup Lights were Optional! Any place to see photos of the Stock 273 Engine? I am thinking that my Volare kit will donate the engine block, and the L.R.W. will give up the Intake, Air Cleaner, and Valve Covers. Not sure about the exhaust system. I'll have to see what work, when I start mocking up parts.
  6. "With luck we'll have out in late 2025.--Steve G." Doesn't Read like a Promise to me. More like an acknowledgement of the realities of Modern Factories and Shipping.
  7. That sounds plausible. Time was money back then, and Good Enough, was indeed, Good Enough. They sold Millions of those "Incorrect Kits" for 30 years, before we even knew they were wrong. And, those same kits still sell today. In fact we will get one, next year...
  8. It's okay, Steve. Some Folks are just really anxious to get the kit. I can wait though.
  9. Indeed! That is needed.
  10. Ben that is a Killer looking Rig! I like the Colour you picked.
  11. Thanks, Mark. I did not know about the Transmission Mount and Three Speed. I have both the Dart Sport & Volare kits, that I can grab things from. I'll have to look at the parts when I get the kit.
  12. Wow, what a Machine. It looks totally period! Good Show.
  13. Outstanding Work! It looks better in the Green, rather than the French Bleu.
