  7. Saw this nice '40 at my grandson's flag football game.
  8. I'd throw away my alarm clock first, then give a needy, deserving person $10,000 to tell my boss where I'd like him to go. After that....... what ever I want. Travel is on the top of the list.
  9. That's awesome. Luv the 6 banger.
  10. Oh yes...... This is sweet!
  11. Sweet ride. I like The color and all the details. 65/66's are my favorite impala body style.
  12. Happy you like it David. The whip antenna came from the Revell Chevrolet/GMC mean mudder van from waaay back in the day. I used wire for a better look. The tip was dipped in white glue, allowed to dry, and repeated until I got the look I wanted. Then I hit it with the chrome pen. Thanks again.
  13. Thanks for looking. I was looking for a wheel/tire combo that would fill the fender openings better than the ones.
  14. I had no definite plan when I started this, it evolved along the way. The chassis and engine are OOB. I wanted to do something with the head lights, and used lights from the custom griil in AMT's '53 PU, removing the bars. The lenses are cut down LEDs from an old flashlight. The rear window came from the '53 also. Tail lights from Revell '48 ford. The bed and side rails are made from coffee sticks, stained and cleared. The interior features a '49 Merc dash. '65 Galaxie rear seat with added head rests, and I believe the steering wheel is from a '53 Ford. The shifter is a shirt pin. I replaced the antenna with wire. Flared tubing was used for exhaust tips. Wheels/tires came from an Aoshima it. Paint is duplicolor dark garnet red metallic over Krylon color max gray primer. There's some minor paint flaws, but I think the finished product looks pretty good. It was a fun build. Comments welcome. Thanks for looking.
  15. Nice build. Put together well and nice detail work. Almost looks like a Jada diecast. Looks good.

  18. Long lost Superbird test mule.
