This is really neat. I'm enjoying the how you do the paint and the prep before hand for the damage and rust. I'm book marking this, (if you don't mind.), for future reference. really liking this so far.

Yes it is a nice kit. I enjoyed putting mine together. Interesting color palette, but I like it. It works well with the lines of the car. Very nice.

I realized the outboard mirror was missing. Rest assured it's now installed. MODS, seems I posted this under the wrong topic. Please move as you see fit. Thanks. -
Hello all, just finished this one. This was built pretty much box stock with a few exceptions. Washi tape was used on the door/interior panels and seat inserts. The interior floor is covered with an old 3 ring binder vinyl cover. I added a fire extinguisher and a shifter from the parts box. ( The kit supplied one was broken.) The paint is duplicolor medium blue metallic and tamiya pure white over Mr surfacer 1000 gray primer. The rear bumper is crooked for why i don't know as every thing else looks level. I should have spent more time on the tail pipes, they look horrendus. May just add aluminum tubing to the ends at this point. This kit went together easy and came out to my liking. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

This'll be good. I followed you Crown Vic build, so I know I'll enjoy this one too. Carry on.

Nice build. I'm lovin that interior, great detail and perfect compliment to the exterior color.

As others have said, using super fine grades of sandpaper to smooth it out. I like Noblngs advice to practce on a spare windshield. I use canopy glue, modge podge, etc. Depending on the application, sometimes I just tape them in place and paint it to Mach the surrounding area. I use Tamiya tape for this.

Wow, that's really interesting, (and cool).

Really well done. Nice subject choice, you don't see these. The amount of detail work you added in such a small scale is amazing.

Very nice. Colors are perfect. I like that you included the chrome strip on the rear windows. Nice touch.

Beautiful work. I'm diggin' the color.

Screaming yellow! This one's spot on. Very nice.

Thanks for looking, I glad you liked it. I couldn't get the trunk to lay evenly, I omited the hinges so it's just sitting there. For the emblems, I used BMF trimmed as close as possible before priming, then removed it from the emblems using thinner and small Tamiya swabs. It's tedious and you have to work slowly. But it's worth the effort. I did the same after the color coats. Nothing spectacular in the engine bay. I did add a battery and radiator hose. Looks like I have an exhaust leak! Thanks again.

Spotted at my grandson's little league game, (He hit his first home run!). Not my first choice for wheels, but the car was very clean. -
Wow, wonderful conversion work. The paint is perfect. The details are perfect, the interior especially. Really nice.

Finished this over the weekend. Built OOB except for the tires. Paint is Behr roasted corn over Tamiya gray primer. Not my best work, but looks OK. What do you guys think? Thanks for looking.

I received a text from con Edison, the local utility company. It was "Pete" telling me I have an outstanding bill and they'd be to my house in 45 minutes to remove my meter unless I paid it off. If you're gonna scam me, at least make it believable.
