B.R.B.O. 'Aussie' KW T900 [finished]

I'm defiantly gonna watch this build. Have built one myself, if you need can send pics of any part of the truck if you need. -
I know we've all seen this rig before, but that was before Jim B helped me out by sending me the decals. I cannot thank you enough for your help mate! I re-weathered over a few decals in choice places, but otherwise I like how well the truck came out. My "baby" is now complete, and I can rest easy until I purchase my next truck and/or trailer kit. Merry Christmas, and happy trucking from down under! Cheers guys!

Australian Road Train Trailer
Kenny900 replied to Kenny900's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
yeah, that would look cool! And I'd need a huge shelf! thanks for the kind words guys! -
I'm not sure if trailers are allowed here, but it's "finished", and it's a model, so I guess it counts. But anyway, this is my Roadtrain trailer from revell, and yes, it may not look finished, but to me, it is. I do not have the paint available to paint the trailer, and I know the brake lights need to be done, but the dolly looks good to me, and that's the part I see the most. The legs lower, and the spares come off the trailer. This and my T900 go together well I think, and should look better together when certain items arrive. Thanks to australia post and only delivering three days a week, I do not have these items yet. Big thanks goes out to Jim B for sending me these items, and hopefully I will be able to show everyone pics of before Christmas. Don't hesitate to ask me about the trailer, or the truck. If you want me to, I can take pics of this behind my W900, but I think this combo looks best. Merry Christmas fellas, and happy truckin!

Hey guys, this is my first work of art, the W900 from revell. I thought I'd show you the truck you saw in the background of the T900 pictures. This was not "built" by me, but repaired by me after it suffered at the hands of a five year old me several years ago. I was always told not to touch, so, as all kids do, I did the opposite, and played with it until it broke. I repaired it after several months of aircraft modelling, and after dad saw my work, gave the the T900 kit to build. So, the truck has the Cat C240 under the hood, 18 speed transmission, and by the looks of things, resides in Palm Springs, California. ( is that a real place?) you can see evidence of my breakages and repairs, with a crooked mudflap and broken light and Ariel brackets, and missing fuel caps on both sides. Other things that fell off were the exhausts, the bonnet, which sadly could not be put back on its hinges, the mirrors had fallen off, but were thankfully not broken. It now enjoys watching me build my next model plane or truck from its place on its shelf. Thanks for looking guys!

Hey guys, been looking at all the amazing rigs on here and decided to show you all my two 'babies'. The first one is Revell's Kenworth T900. The big tanks and spider rims should be the giveaway. If not them, the bull at sure is. I built this truck straight outta the box as I'm only fifteen and am not competent enough to seriously mod my trucks. I did, however, dabble in the art of scratch building, and constructed the Ariel on the bulbar. I also weathered as best I could, which you may see on the fifth wheel and mudflaps. And the oil covered Cat under the hood recently had a major oil leak, and the fan sprayed the engine in oil. It was fixed, but the engine was not cleaned. Hence the black marks all over the engine and inside the bonnet. I also don't have a decal sheet for it, so it is just the plain sand colour. Thanks for looking, and keep up the awesome work guys!

G'day guys, I'm new to building model trucks but have a bit of experience making model aircraft, so I have some modelling skills. I am currently working on a Revell Kenworth T900 Australia, and am enjoying the complexity of the build compared to planes. I am always looking for hints, tips and tricks, and will take any criticisms on board and try to rectify them. Hope to hear from you all somewhere down the track! cheers guys kenny900
