  9. Sorry, just looked at mine, and they don't say. I do however have a Barris book that shows it looking like an antique gold.

  11. WELCOME ABOARD, JOSH!!
  12. WELCOME, JAMES!!
  13. When I finish builds, each car goes into its own individual case, and that case is put into a curio cabinet. if you plan on lighting it, get lights that don't get too hot, it will eventually do damage.
  14. This is ART -build it your way!!!!
  15. LOVE THIS CAR, AND BUILD!! LOOKS REAL TO ME!!
  16. GREAT JOB!!!! did this kit go together good? any issues with assembly? I have two of these to build. im doing mine as a road version.
  17. Very cool, Mike! This is an excellent kit! I have one built as a street legal drag car, but I probably would upset purists because I took out the floor shifter and replaced it with a steeringwheel mounted E-gear system. Cant wait to see yours done!! I had the same problem with Alclad that you mentioned. Q: when you handel the Alclad parts during assembly, do you wear any kind of gloves? latex POWDER FREE gloves help a lot. Also, Have you heard of SPAZ STIX ULTRA MIRROR CHROME spray? its in a spray can. You use it just like Alclad, but I find it to be tougher than, and easier to spray. I use Tamiya gloss black under it. RC'rs like to use it too.
  18. Thanx, Jim, Bet it takes a while to dry?
  19. Outstanding job all'round!!

  23. Love It -the color choices, and the engine detail!! Q: what did you use for the texture on your floorboards?, mine doesn't look that good.
  24. Nice! that's almost the same idea I came up with too I am going to use super fine detail wire and drill tiny holes at the ends of each grill, that way I can pull it tight and glue it in place.
  25. VERY NICE!! Love the fact that its not Plum Crazy too, for a change. how did you do the red stripe in the grill?
