  10. thanks niko ! i too am a big fan of the super stocks ! thanks tom ! look for the thread here in the drag racing section 1963 sd 421 tempest by johnwitzke. this rekindled the flame to start working on my car again. we too are a Pontiac family. i had the pleasure of owning a 63 grand prix for a number of years. it was the best car I've had so far. i still miss it.
  11. built this last summer. came up with this camo scheme. lot of masking but was fun.
  12. hi mark ! I cut the roof off the 62 catalina kit. i have a 63 chevy kit and the roof looks more accurate to me but i plan on building a super stock out of the chevy and didn't want to cut it up. i would say the 63 or 64 chevy would be a good choice.
  13. hello, this is my attempt at my all time favorite car. purchased a modelhaus 63 Bonneville convertible kit a couple of years ago. combined it with the amt 62 catalina kit and this is what I came up with. I haven't worked on it for about a year as I mostly build trucks but I am starting to get the itch to work on it again after seeing the tempest wagon drag cars posted on here. the plan is to shave off the Bonneville trim to create the catalina. thanks for looking.
  14. outstanding ! looks real !
  15. congrats on the new ride clayton ! the company I work for recently purchased 8 new freight shaker cascadias. all but two are auto shifts, most guys don't like them including myself. biggest problem is the exaust fluid system. four had to go back to the dealer for warranty work. they derate to 25 mph when the system fails, a dangerous situation.
  16. very nice ! great paint work !
  17. that looks sweet ! the paint is awesome !
