  1. I think I'll just keep in the vault for now. Andy, does that book you have say anything about how many were produced for each release number?
  2. Huh, and to think i was going to kit bash it. Now I don't know what to do. Has anyone ever built this kit other than box stock? Just wondering, can't find any on the inter web. In the meantime will put it back in the styrene safe.
  3. I have an old Monogram NOB kit that just doesn't show up on any kind of search I can think to try. It's a Tom Daniel Horn Toad. Box has a 1971 date and copyright on it. Cant even find many pictures of this model online. Is it rare, or just not worth anything?
  4. It looks like every car I see on the road, but not exactly. Hmmmm.
  5. I Google'd "1966 cars popular" yep those were some nice looking cars. Some surprises, at least for me. The popular music from that year was not bad either.
  6. I really Like the look of this. Glad to hear you are persevering. Cant wait to see this in Under Glass.
  7. Thank"s for all the great info. Kerry, that Fairmont body looks very interesting. I wonder if there are any decals for that body? A mustang sounds cool also. Maybe a Mallco pro mod (what if) model.
  8. Just wondering what other bodies would be not too difficult to use with this chassis. I"m thinking something unusual, and not necessarily Chevy. Maybe an AMC 1975 Matador or a late 70"s mustang, even a Dodge might be cool. Are there any bodies out there that are not to hard to find, that can be married to this chassis? Kurt
  9. look here, I am working on a 40 ford project also. found this informative. K. http://dennis-carpenter.com/1940FordCoupeBody.aspx
  10. Hayward A long way from hobby stores so have to get almost everything online. I'll try another attachment of current project just to see if it works for practice.
  11. Thanks Mark I will try to start a thread on a project I'm working on now that I could use some advice on as soon as I figure out how to add Pic's.
  12. I have been using this forum for so long as a guest, I thought it was about time I joined. I've been a modeler for as long as I can remember, though it did stray into remote control for many years. (I still sail R.C. sailboats.) Still love model cars, mostly show cars and old drag racing. My inspiration has always been with the show cars of the 50's thru 70's history and anything drag related. I built allot of Tom Daniel kits in my youth and I still have a respect for those designs, so I am no rivet counter. K.
