a beautiful '71 GTX. looks alot like a 1:1 that once resided in my garage. similar green color, my 'X didnt have a Ram Air hood though. just the callout version. you do great work!
-
thats beautiful. I truly love B-body Mopars, and thats an awesome looking GTX.
-
'70 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister. used a Monogram BOSS 302 kit to replicate a vehicle that cruised around my hometown in Colorado in the seventies. that vehicle was a 351C/ 4 speed version.
-
This build is from the "swirly blue plastic" version. after getting the paint where I wanted it, wouldnt you know, I stumbled upon a version that is molded in white. go figure . Love those B-Body Mopars!
-
Nice color choice. not to many 'Panther Pink' (FM3) Challengers out there.
-
decided to try my hand at building a diorama. a little garage. gathered up a few cool items, and here is what I came up with. the initial building is an old wine crate. with a Revell '69 Dodge Charger R/T inside: time to pull that 440, and install a HEMI:

1991 Top Fuel Champ ?
my name is nobody replied to MikeMc's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Your Correct. Gary Ormsby was the 1989 Top Fuel NHRA Champion. by the time 1991 rolled around, Mr. Ormsby wasnt with us any longer. dont think that kit has any value, but its a good way to remember GO. -
What do you drive?

well, like my board name says, here is the Torino, loaded up on the trailer, headed to a car show that is a few miles away. I double my fuel mileage just by pulling it with the Superduty: here is my little bullitt mustang gt: way out here in the middle of nowhere, Montana! -
Nice color choice. 1970 was a very good year for the Satellite/Roadrunner Body. Looks like your going to have a terrific B-Body when your done.
-
That is such a stunning replica. Awesome looking Mustang. Did you build a 'before' version? When he first steals Eleanor in Long Beach?
-
wow. Thats a nice smooth build. one mean looking goat!
-
Nice looking model! The Kelsey Hayes 'recall' wheels look terrific on that kit. Great Job on that kit.
-
Thank You. I have another '70 AAR (Yellow) I built for a guy who owns a 1:1 its finished, and now I cant find his contact info The '68? it will be built as a "New, as delivered" 1968 Super/Stock Replica. primer paint and all. have a built up, cross ram Hemi ready for it. Had to do a little bit of bodywork to turn it inro a '68. The model I'm using was a 1969 Barracuda by MPC.
-
man, you guys build some awesome 'cudas.... dont know if there nice enough to post with yours, but here ya'go: I'm working on a '68 Barracuda HEMI:
-
great subject matter. Not enough Cougar models, in my opinion. What an awesome 'Eliminator' model that one would make.
-
now thats cool! I remember an old MPC Annual '68 Chevelle, is that where this one came from? Anyhow, that looks fantastic.
-
Terrific Build! That looks real enough to start up and peel out. and I too, remember those cars well. lots of folks had them. a friend of mine in the Army had one in the early eighties....... it was a puke pastel green with a green interior.

my name is nobody replied to David Thibodeau's topic in WIP: Model Cars
wow.............. that looks great. my step brother has a '70 1/2 Camaro in his garage that looks exactly like this. orange, black stripes. it need to be gone through, but is complete and running. I need to show him that picture of Juniors 1:1, a great looking car! -
one of my favorite cars of all time. a Monogram kit, with parts box rims. Nothing special:

Thanks for the kind words. Having already built the '70 Twister Mach 1, I felt like I had to build the Twister Torino. Here is a replica of my 1:1 Torino, and here is my '71 Torino GT, headed to the all Ford show in Billings MT. The Twister torino decal sheet I scored off of an auction site, is alot different than the one you posted Jeff, It has decals for the '70 Twister Mach 1 as well.

Having already built a '70 Twister Mach 1, I thought this would be a natural for the Ford cabinet. Body is painted, and you can see my reference material.

Hello, New to your site. But not new to the hobby. thought I would throw this one out there and see what all of you fine modelers think of it. Started with a AMT '69 SS396 Chevelle. and to be honest, it's a poor kit, at best. But, with some patience, and FredCady Decals, I managed to make this: 1969 Yenko 427 Chevelle Thanks, Chuck.

Beautiful Mustang. I love it.
