  1. I like this model, Alot. clean build, nice attention to detail, and really nice color scheme.
  2. at the risk of being premature, as this decade isnt finished, and I'm still Hoping for a '70 Dart Swinger 340 Kit, I'll throw my vote in for the Revell '49 Merc'. Didnt think I would own a model of the old Mercury, but as luck would have it, The local ( ) Wal-Mart had them for $5.00 each on a discontinued rack when they decided to eliminate models, for some stupid reason. I snatched up the pile of four, and for twenty bucks I got four great models. Have only opened one. and it is now prepped & Painted, ready to assemble. It is one beautiful kit. Minimal to zero Flash. Great looking body, nice amount of extra parts. it sure gets my vote.
  3. hmmm........looks like a 911 turbo motor to me. might even have the tranny, its the unpainted one, right in front:
  4. Looks Terrific. Nice detail. really an awesome model, thanks for the pictures!
  5. Looks Tough. I like the Keystone Klassics. They sure look 'period correct.
  6. Looks great. I saw a 1/18 scale diecast of this recently. one great Coronet.
  7. have 911 porsche motor. its assembled, in my parts box. just stumbled across it the other day, looking for rims or something. it is complete. need pic's?
  8. Nice Roadsters. I'm a coupe man myself, but these are way cool. I really like the little black one. Beautiful Models.
  9. Thats a terrific model! Always nice to see someone replicate a vehicle they own, or owned, in scale. these models always seem to have alot more put into them. and I like this. Have never seen a model kit of this Samurai, and it looks great! nice detail, the spare tire cover is really cool.
  10. This is one of those things that always happen to me................ I just traded away a 1972 MPC Roadrunner (Annual)Kit. well, here is what I know, as I have built a few mopars. The Tail Light Assembly is different. The Grille is also different. other than that, they are alot alike. Now, Monogram used to make a '71 Satellite kit that isnt too hard to obtain, that has the 'callout' hood rather than the 'N96' option fresh air, (or air grabber hood.) But the interiors are pretty similar, and overall the body is close, So a grille, and a taillight /bumber assembly, and possibly the hood. Since the 440 can be made to look like a 400 cubic inch big block, all you need there is a single 4 barrel intake, carb & Air cleaner. MPC also had a 1971 roadrunner kit, that has a terrific set of roadrunner strobe stripes.
  11. a replica of a Dart I used to own, built about a decade ago, with my very first attempt at a Vinyl Roof:
  12. Thats Bitchin'! I have that FredCadyInc. decal sheet, and wondered what it ( Big Johns 'cuda F/C) looked like, built. Your version is spectacular, and a Fine Build.
  13. The last time I went to town (Billings Montana) I saw a vehicle named "Ascender". which my wife pronuonced as Ass Ender. I laughed so hard, I almost did. I wonder what an F350 + Ascender would look like? (maybe a booty baby! )
  14. Some American cars sport odd names..... Like the Dodge Aspen. I mean, come on, just thinking about asking someone: "So, Hows your Aspen?" brings a smile to my face.
  15. lets see if these pics work, '69 Dodge A12 Super Bee;
  16. Great build. I love the picture of the 1:1, with Dick behind the wheel with his white hat on. probably had a cigar in his mouth, too. should be a nice model when your done.
  17. great looking Challenger.
  18. all I build;
  19. thats a pretty sweet kit. dont know much about the value, but I'd sure like to find one in that condition.
  20. Thats a terrific build. The display looks great too. you really have a nice display of NHRA Cars going.
  21. A legendary "A-Body" mopar comes to life! this really looks great, and should make a fine addition to your NHRA collection.
  22. Thats a Beautiful GTO. looks period correct, right down to the cragar s/s wheels. Awesome job.
  23. This one made me bust a gut laughing, as a giant Bear was strolling through my yard this Morning. no foolin! Ahem......some Montana Humor: Top Ten Reasons Ranch Trucks are never stolen; #10- They have a range of about twenty miles before they overheat, break down or run out of gas. #9- Only the owner knows how to operate the door to get in or out. #8- It's difficult to drive fast with all the fence tools, grease rags, ropes, chains, syringes, buckets, boots and loose papers in the cab. #7- It takes too long to start and the smoke coming up thru the floorboards clouds your vision. #6- The boarder collie on the tool box looks mean. #5- Their to easy to spot. The description might go something like this: drivers side door is red, passenger side door is green. the front fender is yellow, etc, etc. #4- The large round bale of hay in the back makes it hard to see if your being chased. you could use the mirrors, if they werent broken and cracked and covered in duct tape. #3- Top speed is only around 45 mph. #2- Who wants a truck that needs a years worth of maintenance, U-joints, $3,000.00 in bodywork, tail lights and a windshield? #1- Its hard to steal a truck when everybody in the county is waving at you!
  24. great model of a terrific car.
  25. please, oh please, find a store that sells "Schleich" animals and buy a Buck Deer for the backseat. That scene in the movie with spade, farley and the buck in the backseat just kills me. great replica!
