  1. years ago. I took my girlfriend on a trip to the four corners region of the southwest. while driving home, I felt a pain in my left knee. stopping along the road, I dropped my jeans, and low and behold, a Tick had decided to try and have dinner. I decided to just drive home, and have my girlfriend remove it once we had the proper tools. Once we got home, I got my gear ready. Since my girlfriend is a Animal Doctor, I thought she could remove the tick. I handed her my X acto, with a brand new #11 blade. as I moved to a prone position on the bed, my girlfriend let out an "OOPS!" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a fountain of blood. My blood. She had dropped the X acto knife. it went straight down, into my left leg. and stuck right into the muscle. of course, blood was shooting everywhere. I couldnt stop laughing. Poor Girl started crying. I asked her to get the tick out of my knee first, then get my Aidbag. (I was a Combat Medic for years in the Army.) Took eight stitches to sew up my leg. And she did a great job sewing me up. So good a job, I married Her! I learned a valuable lesson too. Dont hand a woman your X acto knife.
  2. A Masterpiece. One high quality build up...
  3. Beautiful Model. an interesting Mopar in an unusual bodystyle. A really cool build up.
  4. nice wagon. this wagon is in a few series for HW. I like this Garage Car: The Garage Series cars are Diecast Body/ & Diecast Chassis.
  5. I'm jealous... .. I tried to order this kit. was told maybe in september. oh, there are a few '69 & '68 Darts in my stash. I bought them because I have owned acouple of 1:1's. still looking forward to getting the half dozen I pre-ordered. and they will add to the pile of previously purchased Darts. Yeah, it will take some parts-box scavenging to get what I want outta this kit. but that happens so often now, I'm sorta used to it....
  6. Great Color. Nice detail. That is a very sharp looking Chevelle.
  7. no ink on me. I signed a contract in the military long, long ago to not get a tattoo. had alot to do with the particular mission we were given. A tattoo meant you were easily identifiable, and we could be re-assigned if we had any ink. Now, 25 years later, I dont see the need. Besides, I have more than enough scars, believe me. no need for ink to enhance who I am. To each his/ her own. But have you found a piece of artwork you could live with for the Rest Of Your Life?...........
  8. This is a cool build up. The little details are spectacular. Like the pinon snubber plate on the differential, the sub-frame connectors, and the nicely assembled roll cage. The inboard relocated leaf springs are well done, too. I'm building a second attempt at a replica of my 1:1 '69 Swinger 340. the body is completed, and the vinyl top finished.
  9. very nice looking A body. myself, I'm very glad to hear about the new '68 Hemi Dart kit. & will be stimulating the economy in the morning when I attempt to order a half dozen or so. I've waited a very long time for this kit. Your build up looks very good.
  10. we have 4 X 4 ratings we go by. I think this one qualifies as V.D.L. * * * * * * * * * * * Vehicle Damage Likely.
  11. very nice. That is a terrific kit. and your model is really well done.
  12. That team looks great! a beautiful matching pair......
  13. very clean build. brilliant execution. I'm a huge '70 Super Bee fan. And this is certainly a killer B...
  14. my first 1:1 I ever owned was a '70 Super Bee. my favorite B Body Mopar of all time. here are a few of my Bee Builds:
  15. A beautiful build. I certainly remember that Funny Car. way cool.
  16. But Sir, This is not Jeep Country........
  17. I've got a 1:1 Belly Tank from a P-38 Lightning in my barn, are you interested in that?......
  18. I loved this '55 Chevy in both movies it was in. Two Lane Blacktop & American Graffiti. Nice build up.
  19. great looking Torino, Walt.
  20. geez, sounds like a bunch of third graders. Sure glad I'm a Ford man.
  21. Um......Ford introduced the Torino in the 1968 Model Year. This one looks like a '69 Torino..
  22. Thats a shame. Glad I drive an F250 SuperDuty though.
  23. Thats a terrific bodystyle. Those '66 & '67 Fairlane two doors were really nice lookers. your version of a street machine looks pretty cool. Nice Build.
  24. I have a rather large diecast collection. alot of 1/64 stuff, about a hundred 1/18 cars, but very few 1/24 scale. I guess because this is a scale I build, and never see much that appeals to me. This 1/24 JADA Willys coupe did, however; and it displays well on this '47 Ford C.O.E. that is also from JADA;
  25. Whattsa behinda me is not important. Great Looking Corvette. unusual color. I had one of these way back when. Black/Black interior. 427/390 Horsepower /4 speed. it was only good for a couple of things, and one of them was speeding tickets.
