  1. very nice. The color looks accurate for Y3 cream.
  2. were rich!!!!!!! My wife, who loved 8 tracks, still has her 800- 8 tracks and a wicked JVC player recorder. when we fist met some twenty years ago, she still had an 8 track stereo in her '68 Mustang Fastback. we still have all her eight track stuff out in the garage.
  3. if a kit has certain appeal to me personally, then I do buy alot of that particular kit. sometimes a case, sometimes just 3 or 4. I've lived a 'car' oriented life, so there are many models that I own multiples of. and quite a few that I have built multiple times. since I order my kits online, it also makes sense to buy multiples. saves on shipping. that, and there isnt a store within 200 miles of me that sells model kits.
  4. this is a pretty nice kit: The hood scoop came out of the MPC '69 Barracuda.
  5. great looking Nova. it is pretty good looking in Plum Crazy purple. Nice, Clean build.
  6. very nice build. I really like that color. the details on the engine, chassis & interior are all great. Thats a really killer looking GTX.
  7. this is a very nice build up.
  8. Nice looking Ford truck. gonna be kinda hard to back up though.......
  9. That is a very nice, contrasting, color scheme on this Mercury. the underhood detail is really sweet as well. A top-shelf build on a not commonly seen Automobile. I really like this Cyclone!
  10. Beautiful Car. And an awesome build. the color scheme is fantastic!
  11. great color choice! I built my Pro/Street '68 Plymouth in 'Chezoom Teal', looks like twin sons from different mothers. Your stock '68 roadrunner looks terrific.
  12. thats great! cool picture. I have a WWII Belly Tank sitting in my barn. I think its off of a P-38. would like to see it done up as a Lakester.
  13. Nice build. I really like the last photograph, shot from above. '68/'69/'70 Mustangs lined up like that looks cool.
  14. stunning attention to detail. this is one well executed model.
  15. I think it looks terrific just as it sits. those A/FX cars were the greatest. your model turned out really sharp.
  16. thats great! I do enjoy these series of ads on TV.
  17. we know a guy who had a few Top Fuel parts left from his racing days. like a 500+ cubic inch Keith Black Hemi, a Mooneyham 14-71 Supercharger and an Enderle Hat. He stuffed it into a '70 Dodge Challenger. On methanol, it gets about two gallons to the mile. only good for a couple of things really, 'John Force' style burnouts, and when you slap the throttle, the frame tweaks and the doors pop open...........
  18. I really dont know what my problem is. I have quite a few stalled projects. no rhyme or reason to it...........just happens. here are a couple, a '70 Torino Cobra Twister Special, and my seventies street machine I'm gonna call 'MOCK ONE'. (Mock because there were no BOSS 429 Mach 1's built.) One of these days,..........thats the line I keep using. meanwhile: I've started dinking around with these two AMT Shelby Mustangs. The '68 is gonna be a GT 350 with the drivetrain from the '67, which is turning into a GT500. The drivetrain for the '67 GT500 is being swiped from another AMT kit, the '66 Fairlane 427. So, at least you know your not alone.
  19. A very nice, clean Nova SS. that blue looks brilliant on that bodystyle. Great Build Up.
  20. very nice. my favorite mid-year 'vette. I really like the Revell kit. Your Corvette turned out pretty cool.
  21. Thats a great looking 'cuda!
  22. sweet! Thats a nice looking Boss '9. you can score a very accurate shaker for the twister if you use the entire system from Revell's '69 Mach 1. you have to cut up both hoods, but it can be done. My '70 Mach 1 Twister Special model is pretty sweet. I'm building a Twister Special Cobra Torino to sit next to it. Your BOSS turned out really nice.
  23. Very nice looking Mustang.
