  1. we have had snow on the ground since october. and it is falling right now. we have lost gardens we planted After Memorial Day due to the snow & cold. I Love Montana!
  2. I always liked the Johan boxes:
  3. looks awesome. a wicked AWB replica. somewhere I have some footage of the Dick Landy AWB '65 Coronet. I'm going to have to find that film and see if it was running injection, too. Beautiful build up.
  4. great build up. I still have the one I built 25 years ago. always thought this was a pretty nicely detailed kit. your Mustang looks great.
  5. really nice build. always liked the grabber blue Mach 1 Mustangs.
  6. very nice build. real sleeper look, too.
  7. I use el cheapo ammonia cleaner from the dollar aisle. 'parsons' is the brand name. I usually soak it for 15-20 minutes, rinse it clean and away I go.
  8. Stunning. The paint scheme on the Viper blows me away. beautiful work.
  9. That is one awesome looking '65 Coronet.
  10. sorry, had to go dig this Camaro out of storage. I built this kit box stock. only added the white hockey-stick stripe to the car. engine: this kit, despite its obvious flaws, does include some nice parts. Dana 60 rear end: as almost everyone who entered this particular CBP was building the Revell version (which is light years better than this kit) I built this just to be different. and it was only $7.50.....
  11. I built this one for a CBP on another board. its just the old Monogram '69 Camaro Z/28 in a different box. twin turbo small block.
  12. Awesome!
  13. since styrene is flammable, I'm requesting a "Viking" funeral.....
  14. my first car was a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. so I'm partial to B Body Mopars. but alas, I was raised in a Ford family, so I'll have to go with this: my little 1971 Ford Torino GT.
  15. I guess I could dust off this old Honda kit and build up a replica of a motorcycle I once owned:
  16. This looks very cool. I was always attracted to these Pontiacs. our neighbour had a '65 Catalina 2+2 with a 421. that thing was beautiful. Your build up is sweet.
  17. after searching for many years, and never finding one, I just received an email from my online distributor.............. A 1961 Ford Starliner is coming! Now I'm gonna have to track down a few 1960 Galaxie kits for chassis donors. apparently this '61 is going to be more of a curbside kit. Now I can build a replica of a car I knew years & years ago. a '61 Starliner with a 427 SOHC.....
  18. Thank You. I like it. out of the entire five bedroom house, my wife allowed me one room for my stuff. very kind of her, and I isolate my hobbies to this one room. oh, and the garage......uh, and a Shed out by the barn.
  19. after completing a model, I usually display it. my model room is full of recycled displays. Here is the Ford display (recycled cigar case): Here is the Mopar display (recycled China cabinet): and finally, the General Motors display (recycled Dentist cabinet): The dentist cabinet has a nice storage area underneath the display area. I place older builds in their original boxes and store them in there. overflow models get placed into boxes and put in the rafters of my garage.
  20. NASCAR drivers circle a piece of asphalt, Hour after Hour, headed for the finish line. NHRA competitors drive straight to it....
  21. worked on models. and chased my wife around....
  22. very nice build up. this vehicle reminds me of a 1:1 Snowmobile hauler we had when I was a boy. only it was a '48 Chevy with a flatbed. That old truck was indestructible. As an FYI, There is an American diecast company, "Johnny Lightning" that made a Snowmobile in their line of diecast. why would I share this info? Because they are 1/25 scale!
