Yeah the engine in this kit is the 396. From what I remember reading the '65 convertible has a 409.

The blue one is sweet... I think it will look awesome with either of those colors, but that Evening Orchid would be slick. Can't wait to see what you do with it. The '65 is one of my favorite Impalas, so I will definitely be following along. I built this one a couple years back with a candy type red paint job. Though it came out ok, I want to try my hands at it again. Hopefully it'll come out the way I see it in my mind this time.

I run the receiving team for a distribution center. I can honestly say, yes work does play a factor... but mainly it's life in general. Family, personal life, work, obligations, band, weather, health... just life.

I'm having an issue with the creative juices and desire with the mustang. If it would be alright with the powers that be, I'd like to change my entry. I've had this in the stash for long while, and I think I'm ready to bust it open.
