  1. Marc, hre are some pictures of the Sportec Wheels from Fujimi. They measure out at 21.1 front and rear. Just the width is bigger in the rear. Hope this helps! Chris
  2. That is great looking! I really love the interior. You've nailed it. Chris
  3. Fantastic work Ismael! I cannot wait for your next installment of Ferraridom. On a side note, Seeing you work on this prompted me to pick this up as a parts car from the swap meet last weekend for a $1. Thanks! LOL Chris
  4. No doubt! Gotta get them when you can, and then if you do find a set on ebay, a discontinued set, be ready to bid high. I let a pair of Aoshima Wald Duchatelet's go. I have a Fujimi set, but the Aoshima set was 2 piece. Aoshima will be releasing 4 new sets in their VIP series. I pre-ordered them about a month ago and they will probably be released sometime this month. I know they had an order stop on them for awhile but it appears that you can still pre-order them for 800 yen. I've learned it is best to buy two of each if you can afford too. Good Luck Ken. Chris
  5. James, your F430 looks fantastic! I have one planned too, in exactly the same color. Part of my Miami Vice builds. I have to finish the Testarossa before I can get to it though. Look forward to seeing the assembled masterpiece! Chris
  6. Chad, glad to see you made it over here. I really admired your talent from the HH board. You've got a great future ahead of you. Your stuff is absolutely awesome! Chris
  7. Ismael, That is awesome! I wish I had my old builds, but *gulp*, Mom tossed them after I moved out. I built the Magnum P.I. Ferrari too, unpainted, steerable wheels, I thought it was the coolest thing. Built mine about the same time as you! Look forward to seeing it restored and your other two! Chris
  8. As long as you are happy with it John. I think the computer screen colors will make it look different to us all. Burnt Sienna looks good, but is a bit more red and more suitable to a Porsche. That looks pretty good to me though. The Scag looks great! You'll have it finished in no time. Chris
  9. This was a two week build. Just maybe got an hour or two on it during the week. Most of the work was completed on Thursday and Friday evening. This is a sure hit winner for Revell. The kit goes together with no problems at all. My only complaint is that I didn't test fit the pan, chassis, and body all at once. Mine has a warp in it. Something I noticed after everything was painted. I plan on building another one as a test car with more and better details. This car lends itself to that. This was built box stock, painted with Tamiya Camel Yellow. Testors metalizers throughout, and just plain fun. More pictures can be found at http://public.fotki.com/73superduty/my_com.../corvette_c6-r/ Chris B.
  10. Most of these are re-issues, however I am sure after the iHobby Expo their will be some new surprises. Anyway here is what I have found so far: 1/24 BB, '32 Ford Street Rod 1/24 BB, Sting Ray III 1/24 BB, '57 Corvette Convertible 1/24 BB, Ply Duster "Cop Out" 1/24 BB, '82 Corvette Col's Ed 1/24 BB, '56 Chevy Bel Air 1/24 BB, '57 Chevy Nomad 1/24 BB, '87 Thunderbird Turbo 1/25 BB, '55 Ford Pickup St Rod 1/25 BB, Ford Mustang Mach III The BB designation means it is a basic build kit. Some of you may have seen these at the local Wal-Mart and it appears they are releaseing them to the hobby side now. Retail is $12.99 and could possibly be cheaper. Tentative street date is 11/1. On to the rest: 1/25 Easy Corvette Z06 11/1 1/24 Ford T Roadster 11/1 1/24 '93 Ford SVT Cobra 2N1 11/1 1/24 '70 Pontiac Firebird 2N1 11/30 1/25 Donks Custom Cadillac 11/30 1/25 Donks '94 Impala SS 2N1 11/30 1/25 '57 Chevy Pro Sportsman 11/30 1/12 RM Kustom "Gambler" Chop 11/30 1/12 RM Kustom "Fireball" Chop 11/30 I haven't seen anything on AMT yet. Chris
  11. Just wanted to bump this up for anyone in the five state area near MN. The show is this sunday rain or shine. Chris
  12. John, I used, I believe, Tamiya Light Sand. Pretty generic, but I like the way it looked. Chris
  13. My first time up close with a Gallardo and a Murcielago Spyder. Show was kind of weak due to the weather, but I am glad I made it. More can be found at the link. I also took more pictures of the bikes this year. Chris
  14. John, that looks great! I bought a few of these kits for the engine, they should drop right into the Fujimi 550/575M's. Look forward to your progress! Here's mine in Nero Daytona Metallic: Chris
  15. Here you go John: http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlus...asp?tlcode=HAS Chris
  16. Lyle, That is awesome! It looks like you could hop on and ride away! NICE! Chris
  17. Started this one back in December of '05, shelved it since I broke the front suspension. Pulled it back out August and finally completed it. TS-14 Built box stock from the Fujimi Ralli-Art Street Version kit, minus all the decals. My wife bought this for me about two years ago. Nice to have another one off the bench! Chris More at the link: http://public.fotki.com/73superduty/my_com...subishi_lancer/
  18. Bob is correct on all counts. Released in December. Prices in yen as Bob stated would be fair. US prices not so fair. If it is any consolation my first prices were off. They will be $44.95  Like it matters any. Chris
  19. Stunning! Paint and that it has paint! LOL Chris
  20. That looks awesome! I really like the way the car looks. Decals look really nice as well. Chris
  21. John, what airbrush are you using again? Also what tip? You've got me really interested in trying this out. I'm curious if I can even do it. Again, GREAT WORK! Chris
  22. They are posted on an upcoming page for Dragon. I was able to type the numbers in at the Hobby shop and they came up as good numbers. Unfortunately, the price is just that high. Bob, I agree, ridiculous extortion. I really thought they would have been about $25-$30 myself. The Fujimi kits are much better and more detailed. I almost had a heart attack with the price of the Mercedes SLR from Tamiya too. The prices are sure jumping up on the kits. Chris
  23. Have you heard about the Hasegawa Limited Edition Kits? To be released in December: HAS 20230 Ferrari 348tb HAS 20231 Ferrari 348ts HAS 20232 Ferrari 328 GTB HAS 20233 Ferrari 328 GTS Not sure how limited, but I know how much retail on these will be: $46.69. I've preordered a 348ts and a 328 GTS, but, I'll have to eat ramin noodles for a week.... Chris
  24. JayVee, I can't believe how far you've come so quickly. Amazing work, especially these flames for your first time. Does Mike L.'s video really make it that easy? Are you artistically inclined? I have a hard time with stick figures. I would love to paint like that. Any tips you could give out? Chris
  25. The honeycombs look awesome on there. I would definitely love to see that get re-issued, but I don't think that is possible is it? Wasn't it turned into the superfly or whatever they called it? That kit has so many possibilities. Hurst edition comes to mind. I look forward to your finished resto! Chris
