  1. Saw the latest Galaxie ad in the newest Model Cars Magazine and noticed your truck and trailer outfit in their new ad on page 49! Congrats! Chris
  2. Both those vette's are breathtaking. I love the scheme. Bob's truck would look natural hauling them on a trailer. Great job guys! Chris
  3. A #2 B #24 C #21 D #13 E #19 I hope this helps you out Doug. Lots of very cool builds in their. Thanks for sharing. Chris
  4. Congrats LEE!! I want a Pocher kit myself, but the prices are way out of my billfold range. Look forward to your resto on it! Chris
  5. You are right Dave, here are my scans: Chris
  6. I just got the newest Revell flyer today and thought I would post them here for you: Feel free to post these anywhere, their are no subtle changes to them for me to identify that they are in fact mine (tongue in cheek here boys). At least give me some credit though....LOL I also have the price/date list if anyone is interested in knowing these things. Only the Battlestar Galactica items aren't priced or dated. Bigger pictures available at my fotki link: http://public.fotki.com/73superduty/box_ar..._art/page6.html Chris

Looks pretty good Casey! Did you have any fit issues? Looks like the window may have given you some troubles. Nice idea with the flat paint and clear, I would've never thought of that. Chris
  8. Irv, that looks great. I envy the space you have created for display. I have a whole spare room to do that in, but I have to finish it. My workshop is great, but it shrinks really fast with two of my boys modeling in their too. Glad to see you have a dedicated place to build. Chris
  9. Hi Charlie, I sure did. Just haven't had too much playtime to sit and enjoy your pictures yet. Thanks! Chris

  11. Charlie, I have one, not building it yet though. The car comes in primarily 4 colors. OF course when you spend that kind of money you should be able to get it in any color you want. Not getting technical on colors, but Silver, Black, dark silver, and white are what I know of. Reading through the directions it is available in 11 exterior colors, but not listed. Try googling the car for colors. I really haven't gotten anywhere with it myself. Chris
  12. John, Jackson's boys did a helluva job. I'm not real keen on the stripe, but the V.G. paint is perfect! Got to wonder if that would have went over well on the real cars. Modeler Al's decals look fantastic on their. Looking at yours has made me take mine out of the case and put Al's decals on to finish. Great work! Chris
  13. Marc: Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!(Dead Milkman reference) Great work man. Chris
  14. Hi Gerry! Here I thought you had already been here! Glad to have you aboard! Chris
  15. James, that looks great! The attention to the outdoor details (bird poo) are great! The weathering is perfect. Chris
  16. That 612 looks fantastic! The wheels fit its style perfect. Great exahust details! Chris
  17. LOL Mine too!!!! Chris
  18. Andy, you nailed it. Looks great! I love seeing obscure models built. IF you get a chance for the sun I'd love to see the pearl pop! Chris
  19. Brian, they look great to me. I look forward to seeing this completed as well. Sometimes doing just a little bit each night or day is enough to really get you going. Chris
  20. Ray, that is a neat looking tool. Never seen one before. As for the whole in the wall, yeah, my booth is in the basement so I had to vent out that way. Certainly take Ray's advice and get one of them vent things for the window. Chris
  21. John, you nailed it. Boring a big hole is about as simple as it gets. I had an old dryer vent in that spot already so it was already their for me, but yes, to simply put, you do have to put a hole in the side of the house. Chris

  23. Hi Ray, Yes, they really do work. I use Cobra Colors and Tamiya paints and the smell is out instantaneously. I have the Paasche booth and use the charcoal filter along with the regular filter and have it vented outside. The charcoal filter actually absorbs the smell as the fumes are on the way out. My wife and children both commented that they cannot tell when I am painting. I believe Bill Geary uses the same booth, among others. I hope this helps. Chris
  24. Mark, that looks awesome! Your buddy should be very happy with it. I cannot belive your black work, especially over the white. Perfect. Chris
  25. Looking good Ismael. I'm very interested to see your build, especially with all that knowledge you have from being up close and personal! Chris
