  1. Steve, I am unsure if you still have complete decal sheet. I would guess no since you tried making them work. Anyway, I have had great luck with Canada Keith Marks' decals. I sent a complete decal sheet to him and asked for the same thing back only in a different color. Two week turnaround and perfect decals. His decals are very thin and apply very easily. You do have to be more careful with them, but you know they will work. He does charge a nominal fee of course. You can catch him on ebay as kmarks999 or check him out at his Fotki site: http://public.fotki.com/mofobow/ Good Luck! Chris
  2. Magnificent build Ismael! That looks so real. I look forward to your next build. Ferrari or Corvette. Chris
  3. Well, here is a litte more work done on the GTO. Since the 2006 GTO's have a clear rear lens with black background, I had to come up with a realistic way to incorporate it. This was going to be a bit more intense than I had hoped. Here is what I have so far: What I used was BMF Black Chrome as the backing and then chrome BMF for the circles. I'll be using some Tamiya acrylic clear red on the big chrome sphere, a touch of clear yellow on the bottom and leaving the top sphere alone. Just started getting underway in the front area: I painted the bucket flat black and again, spheres of BMF chrome for headlights. Still have the turn signal to cut ot as well as the other squarish headlight. Now, had I been a litte more observant and not so gung ho I would have used Zoom Zoom's tutorial to do the headlights. I'll do it next time for sure. No picture yet, but the interior pan has been flocked. Just have the transmission humps to flock and that will be done. It's moving along nicely now. Have tomorrow off so I plan on getting the interior done. Chris
  4. I tried a new camera setting and I think the pictures look much crisper. I'll keep fiddling with it as the years go by. LOL Wow, yet another awesome show with awesome cars. My favorite of course was the 1973 SD-455 4 spd Brewster Green Trans Am, RARE RARE RARE! Only 7 in brewster green were made. This one had the black deluxe interior and no console. This was the slickest car their. Really well done. I took 174 pictures and you can find the rest at my link. Chris
  5. I'm looking forward to getting this kit too. Ismael, your knowledge is unbelievable. Here is the pic I think Ismael was talking about: Used to be my desktop picture. Anyway, the C6 is gorgeous as well as the C6R. If anyone would like the higher resolution picture for themselves let me know. Chris
  6. Is that the new C6 levitator? LOL Looks great Ismael. This build in particular motivated me on a few items on my GTO. Thank You! Chris
  7. Thanks Jay Vee. Good luck with the video tutorial, I had a hard time swallowing the $160 price tag for the set. The video alon is I believe $60. Anyway, I didn't buy it. Look forward to some more of your stuff! Chris
  8. That's cool. Did you freehand those then? Or did you mask them? Sorry for allt he questions. I'm impressed at teh work you did. I've not tried to do anything like that with my Badger 175. I've been thinking of adding an Iwata gravity feed to my arsenal for projects just like youve shown. Chris
  9. That looks good jayvee! What tip did you use and what badger number?? Chris
  10. Looks good Charlie. Now I know the color. Great Ferrari kit to start out with. It should go together very well for you. Ismael, the most beautiful design? From the Corvette guru himself?? Chris
  11. That is coooool! I loved the way gassers looked. I have to build something like this for myself. Chris
  12. I believe it is a "hot" topic with "x" amount of posts. Just a popular topic. Chris
  13. My sentiments are the same. HLJ is excellent. As already stated, it's better to put a little bit bigger order together to save some shipping. I've usually got a few ikits, wheel kits and doodads in my orders. I've been ordering from them for quite some time and have been very happy each time. Chris
  14. That is one of my favorite old school Benz's. That looks dead on! Nice work! Chris
  15. khart, That looks sweet. Love the way those things look. How'd you do?? Chris

  17. Love Peter's post, so I too will follow suit: I'm a Pontiac fan and those cars should tell you my age. Chris
  18. Well, I have hope that Tamiya may eventually do it, in my lifetime I hope. Since the McLaren SLR Mercedes is being done, it is a small chance they could do it. LOL @ Bob Chris
  19. That looks cool! Can you see it going down the road as a 1:1?!?! You'd create a scene for sure! Nice work! Chris
  20. Very nice, I like the wing too. Looks like it fits. Chris
  21. One of my most favorite old school Bugatti's. Of course the Veyron is my favorite, if not looks at least the power. You did a great job on that. Just a beautiful car. Chris
  22. To think I almost didn't go this year. I took just over 200 pictures. Most I have ever taken at one show. Registered cars numbered 4500, but I am sure their were more. I did have one really cool thing happen. I was standing at the GM performance tent admirig the '06 Corvette Z06 Indy Pace car and a guy with a microphone comes up to me and asks me how many Corvettes paced the Indy 500, I started rattling off the years in the mic and got to 8. That was the correct answer and it entitled me to a ride around the fairgrounds in the one and only real Indy Pace car. WOW!! It was awesom to sit and ride in that thing. Here I am in the drivers seat after the ride was over: Ismael eat your heart out!! Here is the Vette: Just so much to look at. Here is a small sampling. Hit the link for tons more.: 222 more at my Car Craft Album. Whooooo, I'm spent.... Chris
