    Hey, Brad! Welcome to the forum! Count me as another Valley of the Sun denizen; I'm a member of both Moonlight Modelers and Cactus Car Modelers. I know of one slot car track ~ but it's a work in progress. HobbyTownUSA / Phoenix Indoor Karting, 3401 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix is currently erecting a slot car track as part of their mini-motorsports mega-center. They have a full-service hobby shop, indoor kart track, indoor RC dirt track, video and game arcade, and in-house snack bar. They're setting up the slot car track and a pinewood derby track. Some of the other guys from both clubs ~ and some 'clubless' friends from around AZ ~ hang out here, so perhaps we'll learn of more slot tracks. If you get a chance to come up . . . let us know & look us up! We have 2 GoodGuys Nationals Model Car & Pedal Car Contests/Shows every year (March & November), the Desert Scale Classic in April every year, and there are 3 big swap meet/flea markets each year. Stay tuned . . .

    I play around. Played trumpet and drums many moon ago. Auditioned for Stan Kenton once upon a time . . . he liked my sound, but told me to come back after I finished college, and high school, and junior high school. Yeah, I was young. Yeah, he was nice, kind, and generous . . . and a friend of my dad's at the time. {I was good, but I wasn't that good! }
