  1. 1. Beautiful rod, Lyle. An excellent rendition of a traditional hot rod! 2. Anything that gets a comment out of Mr. Peterson (who has been way too absent from these hallowed pages) is worthy of an extra superlative or two! Wow! Welcome back, Lyle and Daniel!
  2. Beautiful builds, Lyle, one and all. A veritable one man show & shine! Trying to narrow it down to a favorite is tough; for me, it's a tie between the '41 Chevy PU and the simple cleanliness of the '36 Ford. I think. Congrats on a prolific year!
  3. Yeppirs! If your post has the little "Delete" button on the bottom of your post, then you can remove the entire post just by clicking the "Delete" button. If it doesn't, then you're back to my prior post: 1) delete content or 2) call Ghostbusters!
  4. Not familiar with the "delete" button they're talking about. However, you can delete all the content even if you can't remove the thread itself. Just go to the original post, as long as its yours, and click the "Modify" or "Edit" button. Then delete everything in the text box, and click the button that submits the modification. Presto chango, all the content of your original post is gone. You have to do the same for each additional post you made to that thread, and you cannot delete the content of any replies, but it is one way to do what you're asking about. Of course, the next level is to ask Harry P or Gregg to delete the entire thread. Hope this helps. Ahhh! There is a little "delete" button down there. I'll check it to see what it does.
  5. Wishing you and yours a Christmas rich with tradition, abundant with happiness, overflowing with friends and loved ones, and memorable in every way.
  6. A '69 Camaro is always good to see, and yours is a nice build.
  7. Norm Veber, Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland, offers a beautiful a beautiful S.C.O.T. blower in resin. No website, but you can contact him at 1-410-768-3648. He advertises in MCM; say you saw it here.
  8. Tomatos/tomatoes. That Lonestar is one awesome kit and without a doubt the best big rig model kit manufactured in the past ... what? ... 30 years! Kudos to Moebius!!! Bring it on, a silly millimeter narrower/lower/shorter/longer or whatever. (My eyeballs aren't that accurately calibrated, anyway.)
  9. I get 1/3 of my Hawaiian from Dole, 1/3 from Hutchings, and 1/3 from Jimmy Buffett. No wonder I'm 2/3 messed up. Mahalo nui loa! Mele Kalikimaka, y'all!
  10. That's interesting! A 'General Lee' flying a modern 'Union Jack!' (BTW - Good job.) Dan Merry Christmas!
  11. George, Nice to see your post, particularly at this time of the year! Thank you for the education and inspiration you've provided over all these years. Thank you for all you have contributed to this hobby! Please allow me to wish you the very Merriest of Christmases, and the Happiest, Most Prosperous and Satisfying New Year! Dan Just a Fan
  12. Spectacular!
  13. Dave, THANK YOU and your team for creating such an awesome kit! It looks to be even better than we dared hope for!! Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays - and enjoy the Happy New Year! Dan
  14. Better than collecting ex-wives.
  15. We just reached a milestone! The 10,000th visit to the Moonlight Modelers Club website. We haven't had the website all that long and this is a proud moment for our humble little old club. In a couple of weeks we start our 32nd year! Stop by and see us. M00nlight Modelers Oh, and Merry Christmas to All from the Moonlight Modelers! May you all have a fantastic New Year!!
  16. Great concept. Nice result!
  17. I can't believe it is being limited to the USA, or, more to the point, I can't believe they are excluded our Canadian neighbors and friends. I'm thinking you guys and guyettes buy a lot of plastic "up there" and it seems foolish. Wish I could change it. But, they didn't ask my opinion. ("They" never do.)
  18. I've used a handle due to professional considerations. Can't explain it to you, I'd have to ... well, you know the rest. Besides, what makes you think my real name is my real name? PS: When I first signed on, I wanted to use 'Bart R. Orlans,' but it was already taken.
  19. Continued "wow" here.
  20. It was a server issue last night affecting everyone; something went awry during upgrades to the board. They've fixed it.
  21. Otay. I misunderstood. I thought you were indicating there were those who do and those who don't. I'm more like one who does and doesn't and sometimes cares not so much either way. Didn't see room in there for me without carrying a 'do' or 'don't' flag, but looks like it's kewl for us third-partiers, too! Now, c'mon, relax. I'm just messin' wid ya! Thread-lightening time. I've gotta run ... gotta close the windows ... it's starting to rain ponies!
  22. So, Harry, are you decreeing that there's only two camps in this matter? I ask because I simply don't fit into either group you've deliniated. Help me figure out where I belong.
