  1. Okay.
  2. Wow!
  3. WoW! Not sure how I missed this thread before, but glad I found it now. What a cool alternative powerplant; excellent detailing to boot! Nice.
  4. Reminds me of why I live in Arizona!
  5. Cool idea.
  6. I agree. But it is "interesting" to see factory stock, street machine, commercial vehicle, and raceworn competition vehicle builds with show car finishes; just not very realistic. Amazing how some builders will sweat every little detail in pursuit of realism, then so over-reach the finish in pursuit of judge-pleasing that their builds end up resembling acrylic-dipped tarantula paperweights. I just don't get it.
  7. Interesting; didn't know that. Beautiful build, and an education, too! Thanks.
  8. Sweet! The pickup came out nicely and looks terrific! The diorama looks great so far. Anxious to see the finished product!
  9. Nice, clean build ... makes that kit look good!
  10. Wow~ that's sweet! Nice looking little racer.
  11. Both are very cool projects! Shouldn't take much to bring 'em in (to completion), so ... git 'er done! LOL. They will be great little rods. The builds look like fun ~~~ gotta get mine going ~~~ great inspiration! Good job so far.
  12. I love the rotted-out muffler! Looks great.
  13. Looks right, but the proof is in the pudding ... or, more accurately, the proof will show up when you pour resin the first time. Just make sure you have sufficient depth above the part to provide for a thick enough mold that it won't collapse or get distorted by the poured resin. Good luck!
  14. There you go! Looks good.

Whoa! Now that is a real 'go-fast hot rod' color if I ever saw one! Beauty.
  16. Interesting news, Robert. Looking forward to seeing the "new" primer and trying it out. Thanks for the info.
  17. Nice, Zoli, as always!
  18. Same here.
  19. Now this is interesting.
  20. Nice looking Z, Mike. The taillight treatment looks good; can't wait to see it installed. Your model generates fond memories: I had a '78 Z-28 in black with the gold/bronze stripes and gold-accented turbine wheels. Great car; wish I still had it!
  21. Wow! That's a nice looking build, Jim. Thanks for sharing it with us. Keep those coming. And welcome!
  22. Great looking dio, but that's some kinda nasty bio-hazard swamp there! I'd hate to fall out of that tire swing.
  23. Also, as an FYI regarding the two hoods shown in that pic (along with a bunch of other hoods), the one on the right (above the yellow & black two-tone hood) is the more accurate configuration of the 78/79 Z-28 hood; the one on the left (next to the green Auto World hood) is ... just ... WRONG! That is, if it is supposed to be a GM hood; if it is supposed to replicate an aftermarket hood of some kind, ... well, it could be. But it is definitely not right for a factory hood. Hope this helps.
