Wow, i really messed up and haven't posted the pics of my 69 396. i am using AMT's chevelle and the olds 442for the chassis. not much done at moment but i will replace the olds rear with a chevy and some new exhaustthe "396" will be based around a revell engine and trans combo. Am goin for the eighties feel for the build but the wheels are definatley mid to late '60's. Radir's from the thunder bolt kit.with an old pair of revell nascar slicks Now to find some more chassis parts and hoods seems all the hoods i have had for 69 chevelles over the years have grew legs in the last months . later all Michael -
Super sweet , i have one in the pile to be built. Some day i will start it Michael

Well i am really digging this black sunshine is one of the best songs. But i have one of The Boss's songs Racing in the streets. I got a sixty-nine Chevy with a 396 Fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor She's waiting tonight down in the parking lot Outside the Seven-Eleven store Me and my partner Sonny built her straight out of scratch And he rides with me from town to town We only run for the money got no strings attached We shut `em up and then we shut `em down Tonight tonight the strip's just right I wanna blow `em off in my first heat Summer's here and the time is right We're goin' racin' in the street We take all the action we can meet And we cover all the northeast state When the strip shuts down we run `em in the street From the fire roads to the interstate More lyrics: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/b/bruce+springsteen/#share Now i have to figure out what car to do now . Maybe i can ask the wife to let me get a copo Nova If not i can always do the 69 Chevelle or drag one of the Many camaros on the shelf . But this is now a conundrum for me as to what era street racer do i build the car to. '70's '80's or today? any thing in the spirit of the contest ????? Michael -
Sneak peek .... Lindberg Charger Police Package
hvymtl replied to SteveG's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Why yes James i am going to do the wagon but the city has an all black unmarked also . i am going to go to the public works garage soon to get detail pics of the city cars. Don't really know any state police officers well enough to ask to look at the magnum and i think it runs from the Butler Co. barracks. but those were really nice pics you got there Michael -

Got three today at the I.P.M.S. show in Pittsburgh. two plain and one Fla patrol. Dunno why about the Fla car but EH. these are great looking kits. i will probably start with an all black unmarked like we have in town . And then do one with the city markings. Also have the magnum wagon so there is another one to do in State POlice markings. We have one of them running around here also . Michael -

I read the other thread and it made me sad to hear what happened so i found this thread and was still sad but i have to say my wife and i feel the paiin we have done pet rescue for yrs since we met and she moved to live with me . we started out with two cats brothers actually one orange and one black . they were with us for two years. Inky and Sandy were joined by a prussian blue named schroeder who showed up on our porch in the rain . And once people found out we did rescue they would drop off animals when we werent there. like the idiot who dropped off his cat and his girlfriend's with out her knowing . then we had the two kittens we bottle fed from the one vet's office the male we lost to illness after months and the female was adopted out along with the 20 or so other cats and dogs . Since having our lil girl in 07 we have stopped doing the rescue we have our Chuy (lab great dane and pitty mix) and a lil yorkie named pebbles along with the ghost of Nahla ( feral cat we couldnt adopt out but was sorta tamed by my step daughter and myself . we also losat her to ilness . Sorry to ramble on but i feel better now . long live our pets !!!!!!!!!!! Michael
