I will look into that. Printer is barely a year old however it was a cheap 50 dollar one from walmart i believe. Just bought it so my fiance could print her school work. Never had the intensions of doing high quality stuff like this. I dont think bigger decals will be an issue but small fine detailed stuff like this might be out -

So just to say i tried it i printed the images on the decal paper because it is less "porrous" however the images were still say it with me now "muddy" -

Ya i know they need to be cleared. Didnt even get that far. I printed these on printer paper just to check sizing and it printed that muddy. Wasnt going to print them on the decal paper and risk wasting that space. Ive seen others print small decal like this but must be my printer i guess. Only thing i can think of -
Currently working on a 70 myself. Seeing this makes me feel like im barely doing anything to mine. Your whole build is sick. Wish i could make custom parts like this. Where did you get the floor mats from?

70.5 protour Camaro (Motor done 4/2)

Ughhhh so i was all excited to try out my new home decal paper. I was planning on making the 396 decal that is on the air cleaner as well as the turbo jet decal. I resized it and printed it on test paper first. And sure enough the decal became smudged and illegible. I feared that would happen but was hopeful it would work. Well i guess it is staying just the solid color with no decal on it. -

Idk what id use for said duct work. Also think it would clutter up the engine bay too much -

70.5 protour Camaro (Motor done 4/2)

Still waiting for the wheels and some small other supplies to come in to start major work. However got the power plant wrapped up. Matched the motor to the colors i will be using on the car. Have some minor touch ups to do but 99% complete. Let me know what you guys think -
that would be awesome. Trying to make one on my 70 camaro and cant come up wIh anything

Nice details in the dash

where did you get these? And what do you use for filler to make it seamless to the hood. I looked them up but only find pics of hoods in bags and cant see what they actually are. If you have a build thread showing how you install them id love to see it.

70.5 protour Camaro (Motor done 4/2)
CelticModeler replied to CelticModeler's topic in WIP: Model Cars
So started some of the body work today while im waiting for my wheels to come in. Shaved the rear trunk emblem, fixed the messed up mold tear on the hood. Attached the tail and began putty work to make it seamless. The tail itself was pretty twisted and warped and fit horribly so had to heat and straighten several times to get it decent enough to work with. Tried coming up with a ram air scoop for the hood but couldnt come up with any ideas that i liked so think i might just leave it stock. Undecided on that right now yho. If anyone has some advice or decent pics of a hood that looks good on this please share. Im drawing a blank. -

Ok that settles it. IM GOIN PROTOURING. Found these wheels on ebay for $10.00 was a little iffy on the size because the seller wasnt sure on the exact size but figured id go for it anyways since they are almost exactly what im looking for. We will see when they come in if its a go. I hope they work because im tired of searching for the perfect wheel. -

need help with wheel sizing
CelticModeler replied to CelticModeler's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
If those are the sizes for the entire wheel and tire then that will work for me but if yhat is just the wheel then that is way to big for what im looking for. Thank you. I have messaged him to try and clearify his dimensions. -

My response came off as rude and smart ass like. I did not mean for it to and for that i appologize. What i was trying to sat is what do i need to ask the seller for them to get me a dimension so i can figure out what the size of the "wheel" itself is -
