    Seven seasons! For any show that's a good run. There used to be a joke that at seven seasons the real money would be coming in with syndication. Sadly for me, Jay's show was on one of those channels I kept forgetting about, and so only caught a few episodes over the years.

    Do you guys still check eBay for car listings? For many years that used to be a go-to source for reference (whole cars or just parts), then some time ago I became frustrated with search results.

    Agreed. Sure there is. A hard drive packed with reference isn't helpful if it isn't organized. ?

    Toronado/Eldorado car haulers appear to not be all that uncommon. They show up in internet postings of custom ramp trucks and such.

    While there are several 1:24 / 1:25 scale diecast trucks with old-style hand-crank tow booms, AMT offered a tow truck option with their 1934 Ford truck kits, which has been reissued recently.

    The guy in the video above got his R/C truck for less than $100. IIRC I saw them at my local shop for somewhere around $120 or so. That's a lot better than what larger scale R/C trucks go for. Many HO scale locomotives go for more money than these little trucks. ?

    Monogram Ramcharger build. It would appear this particular R/C chassis won't allow for a full kit interior. Quite a bit of the interior tub had to be cut away to clear the chassis and electronics.
