    As a Jethro Tull fan, I picked up the Walk Into Light LP in my college days, and frankly I didn't know what to make of it. It was a departure from the Tull sound. I discovered Camel through my brother who had borrowed an album or two. While I haven't been following them closely, a couple of their pieces have stuck with me. There's some nice Mellotron and guitar work there. I recently heard this song on a local college station. I am not familiar with the artist.

    I really wasn't familiar with The Wild Wild West at the time, though I've heard it often at work the past several months. I did hear Adam West on the Doctor Demento Show back in the day.

    Cowboy Bebop, Deathnote, Space Dandy, Kids On The Slope, Fuli Culi, and features like Spirited Away. Then there's Star Blazers and Battle Of The Planets but i haven't watched them since the '80s.

    We could use some more rain in Massachusetts. It's getting dry again. The Charles river is down a bit. Just this spring we celebrated breaking our last drought. Other than that, the weather for my vacation has been beautiful. 🙂

    I recently ordered a 1980s LIONEL repro "Hiawatha" 4-4-2 steam loco and streamlined passenger train set. The motor doesn't turn, which is fine, since I'm rebuilding the train for 2-rail running regardless. 🙂 I removed the motor block and the body shell casting is still very heavy. Some time ago I got a used set of Weaver aluminum 2-rail Hiawatha passenger cars gambling I'd find a loco for them. The cars in the original LIONEL set were based on their UPRR M10000 diesel streamliner tooling.

    I've always wondered how those Revell kits were mastered. Did they carve oversized wooden bucks like for model cars? 🙂 It's also interesting they reused the old boxart.

    It's been interesting watching videos from British YouTubers who pronounce Heljan with a Y-sound for the J. Sure, it's an European name, but it sounds weird. They make trains in British OO and O scales. I still associate them with kits of buildings.

    Various modern lightweight trains were tried out here in New England around the time of the Aerotrain. They suffered a similar fate, though the trains built by ACF for Spain's Talgo service were fine on Spanish rails despite the uncomfortable ride on New Haven RR tracks There is at least one 1:8 scale ride-on Aerotrain model.

    Several internet articles claim the bodywork composition included hemp, but I think they're playing that up for clicks. Anyway I thought the odd couple at the top was interesting. Would make an interesting kitbash?
