  1. I have to agree too. Excellent build, Nice straight lines and perfect stance..... But again....as HarryPri mentioned, and this is a curiosity to why give yourself a deadline and push to have errors or goofs happen. I thought this hobby is to RELAX not stress out on timelines
  2. Very nice clean build. Excellen-ta-moon-do ......2 Thumbs up
  3. I really dig the retro style. The bare metal panel look with the red spokes is absolutely perfect. I love it
  4. Thanks for the great words guys, very appreciated
  5. try this on for size
  6. Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciated As for teh roof I was reluctant at first to put it on...... i thought it was to low of a roof line and the window too laid back.....but it came together quite to my liking. Anyhow thanks again for teh great words And George....hang tight.....Ill try to hit ya again ........soon
  7. Started with the 60 Starliner by AMT, grafted the roof from the Chezoom kit, the motor from the 32 ford pheaton, custom dual exhaust, the air cleaner was made from star wars X-wing fighter parts parts, wheels from a Maistro diecast VW, and the chassis has had a face lift with tubing to re-inforce, and painted with PPG Teal metallic.
  8. Great pair of Horses.......they both spell out...." NEED FOR SPEED "
  9. Excellent job on this build. The paint looks absolutely flawless. The interior is really well done to the era even if it is Livin the LowLife. Not to sound too picky but the fact that I am a tire specialist....I kinda noticed that you have 3 directional tire going the wrong way an one the right way
  10. Started with the Galaxi delivery sedan and . ...Um.....uh....hmmmm......went nuts? Its got the Thom Tailer's 53 Corvertte Again door panels, dodge ram 1500 dash panel custom to fit, Riccaro seats, Flocking, Ford 460cid with scratchbuild valve covers topped with detail masters photoetched, quick change rear, custom polished aluminum exhaust, rear roll pan, custom tail lights, painted with SeaShell Pearl Metallic Pink.
  11. I masked mine and airbrushed the redline pinstripe. it works very well
  12. I use automotive 1/8th inch metallic pin striping. Its the cheapest cost by the foot trim tape to get to do 2 tones or more.....and very flexible to do curves.
  13. I started with the WaveRider Kit by revell and after countless hours of scratchbuilding the front header, both front and rear bumpers, shorting the rear box and frame by a scale foot and welding/molding the box to the cab, lowering the suspension, and putting the Hoppin Hydro's 20 inch wheels, and topping it all with Poppy Red I ended with the SS Concept. thanks 4 looking
  14. I have done in the past back in the 1988 to 1993 the Torcan, the Capcon the Canadian Nationals in the Toronto and Ottawa area, and The HotRod Nationals(London Ontario). All theses compititions were a blast to go to. You will have lots of fun. Good luck in the contest Bear
  15. I love that green and silver combo. What color green is it? WOW Well done
  16. That build is 50's era perfect. very nice detailing and paint.
  17. That is one of those cars that you would see in one of those " I can't drive 55" Ads. Mean looking rod
  18. Excellent detailing on the 58. Looks like it just rolled off the maufacturing line. In Toronto, do they still hold the Canadian National model car contests in Scarborogh or Brampton like they used to do in the past, Or the Torcan in Toronto or the CapCon in Ottawa? I used to attend all of those a long time ago when I lived in Montreal.

  20. Its great to see when plans or experiments come together in perfect harmony. Well executed. The Red with the Gold is perfect for the car.
  21. Hell, In Calgary we have gotten in the past all 4 seasons during the summer time. One year I was talking to friends back home in Montreal, it was about 76F outside with nice sun, and within 20 minutes, It went down to 32F and cloudy, started to rain, then hailed until the ground was covered white and then back up to the mid 70F's. . We go from -40F to +70F's overnight during the winter seasons. Try that for a season and not catch a cold or flu
  22. length....1 cubit = 1.457 feet ......or 1 foot = 0.686486486486 cubits Hope this helps to build your ark .......50 cubits would = 72.85 feet in length
  23. Thanks for the great comments guys....... and thanks Bob for a great vote of confidence. Glad to know from a contractors point of view that I did a great job. Ill tell ya.... like you said....... until people walk a mile in a contractors shoes. They dont know what they are missing . I'de do it all over again in a heart beat.
  24. Its an entire floor the same size of sq/ft as the main floor but below ground level.
  25. Basement is finally done!!!! WOO!WOO! 3 months from start to finish, Framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, tape and mud, ceiling stipple, doors, widow boxes, all the moldings, and paint. The carpet was the only thing contracted out. Everything else I did on my own with help of my better half.
