  1. Yes they do have steel rotors with flanges and 10 bolts on race cars. When I built 1:1 race cars ending around 2000 most of the door cars that left the shop were that way. The rotors were scalped on the inside but on a model this will not be seen. Most of the ones that had 5 bolts were street car setups. As far as drilled or slotted they both let the gas out fine on a drag car. Joe don't order the bolts I will send you some the wheels look great sanded with the 1000 grit.
  2. I will sell to any one even the guy that is copying my stuff. I am just saying I can see how some can get a bad attitude about this. I personal fill life is to short to worry about it and if I keep working hard at making parts the better anyone trying to copy my stuff won't have a chance. I am sorry if I came across like I was justifying someone not selling to you. I was just looking at it from both sides. What do you cast maybe we can work a trade for some wheels
  3. I have a small butane flame less torch from micro mart. You can control the heat very precise.
  4. I have a customer that buys wheels from me and a week or two later sells copes of less quality on ebay. I have to do the research to make everything the right size and they just have too copy it. In this case there quality makes them not a competitor. I can see why someone would be hesitant to sell to a competitor.
  5. I make the fronts and the rears. Great photo Gregg.
  6. My son started with the prepainted model kits. Within a few years he was competing and wining in the adult classes at the shows. You did a great job on your first kit post some more pictures. A good uncle would buy you your next kit. keep at it.
  7. Scott's parts are absolutely works of art. I have most of what he makes and will defiantly be buying more. He is a great guy to deal with to boot. The only thing he is doing wrong is he doesn't charge enough for his parts.
  8. Ditto everything above.

  13. I am getting close I made one coil-over and one strut this far. I ended up making some tooling for these but I am getting close. I want to add adjusters and go with my wife to the fabric store this weekend to find stainless pins the right size for the shafts. I also want to remake the spring coils. Now the shafts are steel and I am afraid after time they will rust. Let me know what you think.
