  1. I have to agree for a small scale it is. Thanks for your complement.
  2. I dug this one out this evening going to try to finish this one also soon. I replaced the 10 Hole Alcoa wheels for the spoke wheels out of the Kenworth K-100 Cabover truck. Over the years I’ve lost the inter wheels and had to replace them from my parts box. Soaking the wheels in Ammonia to de-chrome them.
  3. Thanks Gary I appreciate it. I moved it to Under Glass for better pics.
  4. After just shy of 10 years this one is finally done. The kit started out as one of my last AMT 1/43 Peterbilts I’ve collected over the years and this little guy triggered me to go back and start collecting these 1/43 Peterbilts again.(24 and counting as to date) Thanks for all who followed and supported the build over the years. Some features are Don Mills Metal Front 5 hole Alcoa wheels reworked. Don Mills Mirrors and turn signals, Goochie Custom Made decals, Homemade Air Horns, 1/43 New Ray Rear Tandem wheels and tires. Enjoy the pics.
  5. It’s finally done after 1 year shy of being ten years when I first started this truck can’t believe it’s finished. Thanks to all who has followed the long saga and who have supported me. I’ll post the Under Glass pics later.
  6. Ken that engine looks good dropped in there. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Nice updates Steve keeps getting better.
  8. Nice thread seated and following.
  9. Yes I’m like you seeing the same old “Watkins” scheme so many years but I plan on building a 1/25 Kenworth some day with the trailer 😂
  10. Gary I’m in neat looking build seated up front.
  11. Thought I would post some more updates before calling it a night. Made some Air Horns out of a HO Scale Engine Bell added Styrene rod and the back of the kit horn. The kit horns are horrible Added some Don Mills turn signals by cutting one in half
  12. Thanks Brian for the complement yes I have a few more I’ll be adding.
  13. Thanks Gary I appreciate it. Getting closer to being done
  14. Worked on the Pete this afternoon. De-Chromed the Fifths wheel and made it pivot. Then I Hand painted the Plate,Carriage, and the Fifth Wheel with Tamiya Red. More updates soon. While I was at it I decided to hand paint the whole frame to give it a fresh look since it’s been years since it’s been painted.
  15. Jürgen thanks for the nice complement. Yes it’s like building the 1/25 scale but smaller. It does varies in some details like the 1/25 scale but there’s enough here to still make a good looking model. Thanks for stopping by.
  16. Had some bench time tonight. Put a set of Don Mills mirrors on added the intake hose to the breather Put the deck plate on. I dull coated the Mudflaps but the paint kinda crows feet on me think I’m going to just leave it alone at this point. I also painted the Fog Lights as well. Next is working on the Fifth wheel so it will pivot and adding the Air Horns, Cab lights and painting the intake hose.
  17. Your welcome. I’m just waiting for your next 1/32 truck. I’m sure it will turn out great.
  18. I think Hayes is my favorite also
  19. Very nice clean builds. My favorite is the Kenworth T-600 you built.
