  1. I appreciate it which one 😂
  2. This evening I got a little more done on the Watkins Reefer trailer. I added the Reefer unit, Battery Boxes, Fuel Tank, Landing gear, and the decals to the Reefer and Trailer numbers. Next is to add the rear doors and decals, tail lights and license plate bracelet and I’m calling it done.
  3. Jim thanks for sharing those beautiful 1/32 trucks. That T-600 with the new Revell Reefer looks right at home hooked to it. I’m still looking forward to your 1/32 Chevy Bison and no I haven’t forgot 😂.
  4. Tim thanks I appreciate your complement a lot and I never knew you did an write up on these little gems. I would definitely like to see the article or how to obtained a copy. I mentioned Phil Jensen doing a highlight in the October 1973 issue of Overdrive magazine. I didn’t feel comfortable posting it out of respect of the owner on the web it’s a great 3 page article. Phil Jensen was one of the greatest Truck Modelers in my book (Besides my brother Bill) of the late 1960s and 1970s. I’m planning on doing a thread on the Kenworth K-100 Cabover next and corrections to make it look a little better than AMT did and then both trailers after that. Your more than welcome to add your information here if you like. Thanks for stopping by Tim much appreciated.
  5. When they first appeared in 2007 I ordered all three hoping to buy several but when I opened them I was very disappointed because they had no chrome and the Cabover Kenworth was very misleading compared to the box art. So I never bothered buying the Heller ones again just bought the old AMT, Matchbox and Ertl ones. On the Peterbilt Heller added Stack mounts to the cab and it looked like they cleaned the molds up from when Ertl had them. I’ll do a Thread this weekend I hope on the Cabover Kenworth and it’s major changes when Matchbox released it in 1982. Thanks Jim for stopping by.
  6. I know it may be a little earlier yet but with the Holidays around the corner lots of you will be very busy to post. So let’s see those Build’s you completed this year so far. Remember you still have time to post until Midnight December 31, 2024. I’ll Kick us off. This was probably the most successful year for me Completing Models that wasn’t finished.
  7. Jürgen very nice finish and unique rig. It looks like it could be rolling on the Roads of Canada or Alaska to me. Your hard work and labor paid off Congratulations on your build.
  8. Great finish putting all the different parts from different kits and Resin to make this truck. Congrats Brian.
  9. Thanks for sharing Ken they look awesome well worth the wait. I’ve ordered a couple times now from him and the new owner has his act together when it comes to Quality service and Quality decals. My next order I’m planning on ordering this set along with the Flat Bed Truck only ones he now offers. You won’t be disappointed either when applying them they go on great with no issues.
  10. That Condenser in front of the Radiator is so off the charts and convincing. Wow 🤩
  11. Why they would pass one in the first place when the Highway is covered and he’s making a clear pass. I learned that lesson the hard way and never done it again.
  12. Cool little build and interesting I’m in.
  13. Radiator is looking good going to be a nice truck when finished. Standing by for more updates
  14. Back in the late 1980s when Renault was in bed with them I was at a Mack dealership in St. Louis I asked the salesman if they were going to replace the Bulldog with a Poodle he didn’t care too much for my comment 😂
  15. You should be that’s a Beautiful little trailer and it’s going to be one terrific looking rig.
  16. Thanks Brian I’m glad you like it.
  17. Some days I do I had the truck for 19 years dad passed away after going to one show after it was completed with us in Paducah Ky. and it was never the same after that even though Bill and I still showed our trucks many years after dad’s passing there was always a empty feeling. I sold the truck because of my physical health was not doing well and I wasn’t going to be like these guys who are in the late 70s saying “I’m going to fix it up some day” I sold it so some one else could enjoy the truck as much as I did.
  18. Love to see that picture Here you go not sure if can see them. I’ll try to dig out more of my resto pics for you. That’s dad in the background. I sold the truck about 5 years ago. Here’s you a few more My brother Bill and I at a truck show. We always enjoyed showing our trucks together.
  19. Drove one truck in my life with them their not fun on switchback curvy roads they are terrible for the roads here in the foothills of the Ozarks very mushy feeling when you put into a hard curve. I don’t like them.
  20. Gary on my Real 1.1 Autocar the tanks were hanging down on the inside of the frame just behind the cab if this helps. I can get you a pic if you need one.
  21. I have to agree with you Jeff beautiful isn’t. By Gary doing this reminds me when my dad was helped me restore my “Real” 1.1 Autocar grille he cut and fitted the mesh just like Gary did. Thanks Gary for the memory.
  22. I really like your fittings the look very convincing along with your build updates.
  23. Nice one that’s a cool Pete. Maybe that’s why I don’t do much Scratch high end detailing I’ve watched my brother Bill suffer from this disease ever since I was a kid. It would be amazing to see him finish just one of these super high end detailed builds he has Idling on the side.
  24. He’s just flexing his scratchy muscles now to scare ya 😂
