Thanks for the complement I appreciate it. Yes they were very focused on that and the interior options. They were a eye catcher for sure making PACCAR a run for their money at the time. Glad you stopped by. -

Ok after Jeff “Biggu” reaching out to me and his great suggestions I think I have found how to make this Windshield fit better. Thanks again Jeff I appreciate it. First as Jeff suggested I removed some of the material from the back and also around the whole windshield and it worked as it gave it more flexibility and cutting some off the back makes a looser fit as well. Enjoy the pics. -

Looking good I think. I also use Scotch Tape for years but this weekend I found out after all these years using it the tape pulled some black primer and some silver off of the Black Primer. I think I didn’t let it set up good lesson learned. Thanks for sharing. -

Thanks Steve. About time you show up still a few seats in the front row. Yes the General was a pretty good truck if the owner took care of it but I dove one the steering column was wore and the dash was falling a part. I also drove a beautiful orange 1985 GMC general that was cherry tight steering tight steering column and a dash that didn’t rattle or was coming apart. Thanks for stopping by -
Thanks I was thinking that I was hoping some with a General has done this so I know for sure where thickness needs addressed. Thanks for your help

Ok I usually don’t get on here and ask stupid questions but this one has me stumped. As I remember many years ago the glass in these General and Bison never fit so tight. I was wondering if any of you guys are experiencing the same problem I am and how did you make it fit better. I pressed mine in the cab and it blew out the center post but it can be fixed. Thanks for your input.
