  14. Thanks for the complement I appreciate it. Yes they look good in any colors and GM didn’t pull no punches when it came to paint schemes on these beauties. Thanks for stopping by.
  15. Thanks Jeff for the warm Complement. I’ve been taking my time and going slow with this. I’m hoping everything will come together at the end.
  16. Me too. I’ve been fortunate enough to drive 3 of these in my life. 2 standard hoods and one short nose. Thanks for stopping by
  17. Me too if there not too far gone like this one. I wish I would have took some before shots. Thanks for stopping by.
  18. More pics. I’ve had this set of decals since 1987 thought I would take a gamble and use them on this truck and they worked. You just can’t leave them in the water too long or they will curl. They have that milky substance to them like I remember all AMT/Ertl decals were. The interior has been painted just have to pic out the details. I painted the sleeper yesterday also. Enjoy the pics.
  19. Thanks for the complement I appreciate it. I just hope everything alines up on the final.
  20. Back in September my Niece gave me this Coke GMC General. I hadn’t built a General in about 30+ years so I thought I would give it a try. I’ve built 2 of these and one Bison in my lifetime I kinda remembered the dark secrets of the fit issue. So I’ve been taking my time on it and overcoming these issues the kit has so far. This is what I’ve got done so far. I figured I would do a build thread on it being I’m working on it the same time as the GMC Astro. I picked the name “Autumn Almond” because of the paint scheme I chosen and I got it at the beginning of Autumn. Enjoy the pics. I’ll post more pics later
  21. Thanks Gary. Yes it’s starting to shape up to be one really enjoying this build so far.
  22. Thanks I appreciate your complement. Yes I’m surprised it came out good not always the case with me. Glad you stopped by.
  23. Did a short mock up. The Dragfoiler will be painted Grey.
  24. Thanks Jeff. Plenty of seats to choose from. Glad you stopped by.
  25. I bought this off of eBay as a glue bomb. Today I got some paint on it. I’ll be upgrading this with one of Models by Dave 80s grille. I’m letting the paint cure before I put a red strip on it. The Front wheels will be Alcoa and rear wheel be spokes painted white. I’ve named this truck “Mix and Match” because all the different and upgrade parts going into this build. Enjoy the pics.
