Your build is turning out nicely, really like the work you did on the interior. -
Nice build,i have a couple of these in the stash, how did the kit go together?.

When applying the license plate decals i realized to late that the plate holders are to small, and the decals crinkled when i used decal setting solution,so i stripped the plates and added small strips of .015x.020 styrene all along the edges to avoid any future issues.I was also able to clear the body on the weekend,so i won't have any updates for a bit.

Small update for today, interior is now completely done,i used matte aluminum bmf for the shifter console and i painted the shifter duplicolor chrome:

Gorgeous build!,i just watched a movie on Friday on the TCM channel that had stockard channing as a car thief and she stole the exact same car, except the car was red.
-
Nicely done,i've got the monogram snap kit versions, which i think represent the 84'Daytona,but I mainly remember these cars from the tv show Hunter.

Nice work on the interior so far.

Last update for today, just a mockup to see how the chassis/body fit and added the tonneau cover, hoping to be able to clearcoat soon, but it's been really windy here.
-
Just doing a minor mockup to see how the interior looks put together.i took some of these pics with my flash on so seats look extra bright.

Okay the speedometer decal wasn't going to fit into the dash,so i used a small piece of.010 sheet styrene glued over top the dashboard then applied the decal.
-
A couple pictures of the interior,i airbrushed Maroon and mixed in a little black paint to give a darker interior, but I think it may be to dark!...opinions?
-
Also I have attached the suspension to the chassis,no issues to report, also added the tires and wheels,so far so good.
-
Okay,on to the interior,i airbrushed the seats and tonneau cover Maroon over a white primer so they are a little bright.
-
Thanks everyone for the comments, and I agree iamsuperdan no red Ferrari's if I can avoid it,the rest of the suspension all painted and put together.
-
The body was painted a couple days ago, just letting it dry, next update will be on the interior and the rest of the suspension.

The body in Tamiya white primer, before choosing a color I googled the car and found one that was painted Lemans blue with a Bordeaux interior and decided i'm going to copy that using Tamiya TS-51 racing blue and using Tamiya Maroon for the interior.
