Yes and no. I sent one to pulln4dejr. It was his message for me to check my p.ms. I didn’t see a new message from either of you. If you want to pm me try again. I’ll keep an eye out for one.

Nothing there from you. Had internet outage all day yesterday. Maybe it had something to do with not receiving pm ?

Gotta love that trunk detail. Did the kit come that way or is that scratch built?

Don’t be sorry! Thanks for sharing!

Glass is really for ‘61 Dodge Time Machine resin kit. After market vacuum form glass would be acceptable. Any resin kit glass that utilized the Plymouth roof should work. Also need rear bumper for ‘61 Dodge wagon like the chromed one in pic. It’s a Modelhaus piece. The white bumper that came with the kit is inaccurate and could be included in a trade.

1956 Mercury (1/32 scale) trim pieces
#1 model citizen replied to #1 model citizen's topic in Wanted!
Parts found. Please delete -
I have this kit. It’s missing both small and large tubing (for radiator/heater hose, spark plug wires, etc). Engine block glued together. Some parts off trees. Fair box. I’m into mostly 50’s - 60’s stock stuff. Especially MoPars. ‘61 Chrysler, ‘65 Barracuda, ‘60 flat top Corvair, ‘60 Mercury ht, ‘62 Dodge Lancer, Imperials, etc, etc. I would trade you multiple kits for the right kit in the right condition. What do you have?

COWabunga, dude! With that power plant it must really MOOve!🐮 (Never enough of the cheap puns! I say milk them for all they’re worth.) -
Great build. Kinda reminds me of a Dodge Magnum…

Beautiful Hudson! Is the open(ing?) fuel door a feature of the kit or the result of some scratch building?

Looks better built than what the box art suggests. Great job! I have the custom Cunningham kit from this series but the only custom piece left is the roof.

Nice, but where are the bikinis? 😁 -
Looks like you used some different paint techniques that I’m still hesitant to try. Very interesting!

Ouu wee! That’s a beauty!

Need hood ornament and a front “big M emblem” (badge) or 2 for the Revell 1956 Mercury. (Second badge for possible continental kit). LMK what you’re looking for.

What a great find! I had a rust bucket version of this very model, very similarly if not identically equipped. When I had to replace the engine I pulled the slant six out of my totaled ‘61 Dodge. It must have been one with aluminum internals as it gave the car plenty of pep! It would beat a friend’s 350 T-Bird off the line and stay ahead until about 35 mph. I always wanted to put a 4bbl carb on it but never had the opportunity before I had to give it up. It was a fun little car and I would jump at the chance to own this one you found or one like it in its condition. Good luck on acquiring it. I found a few pics of mine…

1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix D-500
#1 model citizen replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Glad to see this thread. I have been working off and on on a ‘61 wagon (Modelhaus) for decades now, not being able to bring myself to shave the Polara chrome trim off the body to create a Dart Senaca. I finally this last fall modified the seats and I then discovered and purchased a Time Machine Resins Polara wagon on eBay. I am now mixing and matching the parts of the two kits and hope to eventually come up with both a Dart and a Polara version. I tried using the ‘64 Dodge chassis but it wouldn’t work with the wagon interior tub, otherwise it is an almost perfect fit. I will, however, be able to use the ‘64 K member with the resin chassis. I have been trying to figure a way to blend the inner fenders of the 2 kits for a more accurate look and looks like you have the solution. Although it would be inaccurate, it looks like the firewall and inner fenders of the ’64 would also be a perfect fit with little if any modification. (I’m so tempted to do one like that!) I have also mated a ‘41 Plymouth manual three speed transmission to the ‘64’s slant 6 (although I don’t know how period correct that is) and chiseled the 2nd exhaust pipe off the chassis (for the Dart. The Polara will run the 383 w/dual exhaust.) Your ’61 seems to be moving right along and looking good! -
Make that x3!
