  2. I have a Modelhaus’64 D100 Custom conversion kit. (Requires only chassis and bed to complete.) I don’t know if it’s the same as the Custom “Sports Special”. I would be willing to trade along with the Dodge lil Red Express Truck donor kit, if needed. . Don’t know what would be a fair trade but I’m looking for early JoHan, AMT and Revell MoPars thru ’65 and ‘65 Mustang coupe/convertible kit.
  3. Wow! That’s too bad. I’ve been looking for just such decals. They look ideal!
  4. There was an “annual” of the ‘65 Barracuda with both a 426 Hemi and a rather crude slant six. It would be cool to have a new tool model with a 273 cid option! My sister’s first car was the ’65 with the 273.
  5. Here’s a good place to try. He’s made me custom plates at a very reasonable price. (Btw I’m loving for more billboards like the one in the picture)
  6. Making this into an auto hauler sounds intriguing! Hope to see it completed.
  7. All three Tri-five Chevys wrapped up in one!
  8. I once had a Testor branded kit of this model, sold it and wished I hadn’t. I have been looking for another ever since!
  9. Yeah, kinda, sort of. Didn’t open the inner bags, but the trailer floor wasn’t bagged. I’m not sure how you envision your trailer so I took some pics of it and a partial mockup of the AMT 1/25 single car trailer for comparison. The 1/32 trailer measures 3” wide. The 1/25 trailer is 5” wide including the fenders, 3 5/8” wide without the fenders. Hope this helps. BTW “copyright 1980” Is imprinted on this piece
  10. I got one of the trailers this week, too. I have never seen it either, but I too have a tractor in need of a trailer. Looks like a a nicely detailed kit…
  11. Cool model of an interesting car. . You’d never know it’s a Cadillac sports car! Cunninghams are interesting cars. Who makes that kit anyway?
  12. Another 1:32 scale model recently completed: an AMT ‘61 Falcon Ranchero. I hope to get at least one more 1:32 model done this year…
  13. New Mexico also issues only 1 plate, too. Here in Iowa we are issued both plates but seems that not displaying the front plate isn’t a big concern. I’ve seen more than one vehicle running with no front plate, and I have never put one on my old truck. I’ve never been pulled over for the missing plate.
  14. Just learned of his passing a few days ago. He will indeed be missed. R.I.P.
  15. Great build, Tom! Just learned of Snake’s passing from this post. He was inspiration to many of us here. Inspired by Snake, I too, have finished a couple of dead projects before and after that thread had been abandoned. He surely will be missed! Did you do a WIP thread on this build? I’m returning to another dead project and I need to install posts in a Modelhaus ’61 Dodge wagon. (Converting a Polara 4dr hardtop to a standard-post-Seneca 4dr wagon) I can sure use some tips!
  16. Hey thanks for pulling this up again! I was thinking about this thread just the other day. I have all but finished the 1/32 Cunningham needing only to print brake vent decals (once I replace my printer. Thanks to Mr. Moto for the encouragement in learning how to make my own decals!) I need to touch up the paint on the cockpit surround “pad” as well, otherwise done!l will post more pics when completely done!
  17. I got these last week for Valentines Day. Serving size is 1/24 kit ?
  18. I think the Hubley promos are 1/24 scale. I owned both the wagon you have and the AMT convertible kit as a kid. Indeed the convertible was the 1st model I ever entered in a contest. I loved that kit. I also had the ’62 Fairlane promo that I think was an AMT.
  19. Got these today.A friend of mine owns a ‘60 Austin Healey 3000 and said this 100-SIX looks more like his car than the 1:32 scale 3000 model. I will have to compare it with his car to see how much it will take to make it into a 3000.
  20. Thanks for sharing! I’m looking forward to the touch test.
  21. I’m looking forward to this test/comparison too. Have you considered posting the results elsewhere in the forum where it might be more appropriate and helpful for those not following this thread? I will add my name to your followers list so I’ll be sure not to miss it!
  22. Looking for 1/25 Austin Healey 3000 badges for a conversion project. Circa 1960. Photo etched or decals. Also the same in 1/32 scale.
  23. A real beauty! I love the color.
